Absolutely adore this cute and unique shop! You can tell each piece was handmade by Alberta local artists and all hand selected and brought into one convenient location. Aesthetic of the shop is top notch. Highly recommend for gifts and decorating your home!
This is such a great shop that supports emerging artists! It’s so important for Canmore / Alberta / Canada to recognize and respect artists, especially those just starting out! Jade is a caring business owner that works incredibly hard to find interesting, unique artwork and products! I highly encourage you to visit project a!!
A shop that mostly caters to more a female demographic. I was in there for some good pottery decor, but nothing looked cleanly made unfortunately - a lot of curved, non-uniform edges. I like unique, but not like this. I'm sure it appeals to someone, but wasn't for me. Edit after owner reply: This may feel personal, but it's not. It's my view from my perspective. Albeit there were a couple good mugs and decorative wall plates, hence the 2 stars. However, I will edit another review I did recently as it was too harsh I find after reading your reply. I'm sure your items appeal to someone, but wasn't for me. Thank you for your time.
Don’t sleep on this shop. It is a go-to for amazing Canadian contemporary handmade items. Wonderfully curated. I’m also an artist who sells my work through Project A for the last 5 years. Great relationship with the owner who has always been professional and flexible. For shoppers, you are guaranteed to find fantastic and thoughtful gift items, it is where I recommend anyone to shop when they are looking for gifts for me : I bought a handmade Uppdo purse in 2020 as a gift to myself and have gotten a million compliments. I have also bought earrings, pillows and skincare over the years there. Lots of different price points, but expect everything to be very thoughtfully considered. They also work hard to give back to the community and are truly locally owned which is imperative to keep the mountain community of Canmore thriving.
This store is incredible! It has such a wide variety of incredible CANADIAN made ceramics, jewellery, clothing, decor and other things. The staff are super friendly and helpful, and I would recommend anyone in Canmore to stop in!
I love shopping here and all the unique gifts it has to offer. I find the staff is super helpful and nice. It is always a go to places for the perfect gift for the special someone.
Love this shop! Ranges from art, home decor, makeup, jewelry, clothing and our favourite candles! You won’t be able to walk in and out with out scooping something up.
Wonderful shop in the heart of Canmore. Great place to buy beautiful things! Really love their jewelry and purse selection. As well they sell mineral cosmetics made in Canada. Highly recommend brow powder, looks very natural. The staff is very helpful too.
Beautifully curated collection, all made by Canadian artists and craftspeople. This is truly the place to find a very special gift for yourself or a loved one. One of my absolute favourite shops in town!
I was lucky enough to work at Project A for almost a year and a half and it was the most inspiring experience. A beautiful collection of handcrafted, high quality products made by Canadian emerging artists makes the store stand out from it's competitors. I was also one of these artists and the platform that the store provided for my business to grow is something that I will forever appreciate. All thanks to owner Jade. I could not recommend Project A enough!
