The staff were really friendly. We didn't get to see any whales. It was like a mini cruise tour as sight seeing. They offer to bring us back for "free" as part of their guarantee but the caveat was we still need to pay about 20CAD for fuel surcharge which is a downside.
Amazing tour! Captain Stephanie was very professional and made our tour so fun! We got close up view of a seal colony with lots of babies, and zipped around a freighter ship. It was so beautiful to see the mountains and wildlife of Vancouver and English Bay, and then to see the city skyline on the way back was incredible. Thanks for the great time Stephanie! Can't wait to come back!
We had an absolutely amazing 5 hour tour with Prince of Whales. We saw several whales, lots of Harbour Seals along with the usual Gulls and Cormorants. They provided us with so much information to make sure we knew what we need & wanted to know about these magnificent critters. The crew members I've forgotten names already answered any and all questions and I am so glad that we spent this time on the beautiful boat.
Had a great experience on the boat! We saw tons of cool wildlife, including a humpback whale and sea lions. The view of the city during sunset was lovely. Our naturalist Kimberly gave us lots of fun facts and was really entertaining.
I did the 3-hour zodiac boat tour of the Burrard Inlet and up the Indian Arm. Sea Vancouver It was a great trip. We lucked out and saw orcas in English Bay right in the city environs, which is very rare. Our skipper had been doing these tours for none years and had never seen them. So amazing! We saw some seals as we made our way up the Indian Arm. The mountains rise steeply up from the shore providing great vistas for photos. We saw a bald eagle as well, and there are lots of blue herons in the bird sanctuary that we passed. The weather was nice. What a great way to spend an afternoon! It was nice to meet people from other countries and to chat with them. Excellent experience! And it is fun riding up and down the waves in the zodiac. This boat really moves!
Amazing day out to hopefully see Whales and we were not disappointed. Great tour with special thanks to the crew, Anthony Wilma, Roman, Stephen and Lucas. Everyone made sure all on board were looked after, informed with as much information on the whales thanks Stephen, safety and managing time spent waiting and looking. We got to see humpbacks and orcas and seals and sea lions and the most spectacular scenery. A must on the Vancouver tour list. thank you also for the photos that you took of the day, emailed to all that come onboard.
Took the larger cruiser and had a beautiful experience. The waters were calm and weather beautiful but we came prepared. With the larger ship there are so many view points and seating options. If you want to sit high, by the captains chair, it’ll be windy and quite cool. Move dow some steps and the elements are cut in half where the lowest point, including indoors are warm and refreshing. The duration of the trip, I spent arrivals and departures up front and the rest in the back. The captains try hard to bring the boat within a good viewing distance of whales so they can shut down the engines and we can hear them blast air. The trip took us just outside of Victoria island so plentiful ocean to see. Now the best parts. Complimentary hot chocolate and don’t worry if you forget your camera. They are out with cameras and telephoto lens to capture the moments. Shortly after your trip, they’ll send the photos to the bookers email account to download for yourself. Don’t spend the whole trip looking through a device. You don’t need to.
We got there pretty early for the 8:30 am half day trip. The boat was pretty full but we got great seats up front. The boat has a capacity of 95 people I think. We left the dock right on time. We navigated a lot, and it was freezing even though we were well equipped. Next time, I will bring gloves and a scarf! We saw some sea lions and there tried finding some orcas and humpback whales. We saw the one and only humpback whale at 10:43 am. We spent a lot of time looking at it. I think we left the place around 11h20. We came back to see some eagles and then went back to the dock. It was a great experience, even though I wish we had spent more time looking for the orcas. I took some pictures but theirs are better since they have a better camera. They’ll send all the pics they’ll take during the trip for free. I got them all only 5 minutes after the end of the trip. I would recommend the place. Just hope you’ll be lucky enough to see any orcas.
Such a fantastic activity! I cannot recommend this place enough. It’s a huge boat with indoor and outdoor seating and viewpoints. We were able to locate a family of orcas that were very playful and a blast to watch. I would very much recommend this place for your adventure outdoors.
