I love my Toro Power Clear Commercial 721- RC ...I bought it there 2 yrs ago...
I brought my Toro snowblower in to get serviced. Needed a spring cable for throttle handle, a gas cover and a few bolts to secure handle near base. Twenty minutes and only $20 and I was out the door. Also received some very good advice on fuel and oil usage. Excellent Service !
I’ve taken my mower/snowblower here before, and they’ve always done great work at a fair price. What prompted the review though was a call I placed them earlier this week. My snowblower wasn’t running, and I fully expected to need to take it in there for service. But after one of their technicians asked a few questions, he gave me a simple piece of advice that had the snowblower running within two minutes. No service needed, no charge at all. Great experience. My snowblower is very old, so once it finally dies I definitely am going here to get a new one.
I have gone there for parts a couple of times. They are not pushy, at all. They DO NOT follow county mandated protocols for COVID-19! I felt safe because I took the means to keep myself safe. They were very respectful of my position in all ways. I will go there again if I need anything for my power equipment.
After a long series of events with a failed purchase at Home Depot, we had found out through my father that Middleton Powe Center MPC had the new lawnmower we wanted, in stock and at a good price. Unfortunately, we live closer to the Sun Prairie location Prairie Power Center / PPC and so dropped by there first to see if they also had it in stock nobody would answer when I called, letting the phone ring for minutes on end before driving over to Middleton. Turns out, PPC also did have it -- but at $150-200 more than MPC, despite being sister locations of the same store. The PPC employee was rude and entirely dismissive of the fact that we had seen a lower price on the same mower at MPC that very morning, and simply let us walk instead of trying to contact the other location to verify pricing and availability to possibly match, or even trying in ANY other to make the sale with us. So we happily drove across town for that price savings, in addition to not wanting to give this guy our business, and had a 100% better experience at MPC with incredibly friendly, good natured and helpful employees. We were in and out in no time with the mower we wanted at the price we wanted, and MPC set up and verified it ran properly for us before we loaded it up into the truck and left. Long story short, MPC is GREAT but PPC honestly sucks, so make sure you hit up the right guys for your power equipment needs.
This store refuses to follow the public health order mandating masks for employees and customers, claiming they give their customers the choice. Clearly they are confused about the meaning of the word “mandate” and think that spreading COVID to others is an acceptable choice. We’ll buy an expensive snow blower elsewhere.
Good choice of lawn mowers. Reasonable prices. Good service.
Very Knowledgeable about all of their lines of equipment. Hometown service feel. Not pushy to make sales, honest opinions about products and brands. Best pricing available. Will go there for sales, service and accessories for all of my needs.
PPC sells only high quality equipment. I bought a nice Ariens snow blower. I wish they would wear masks though.
