Mom n Pop at its finest. No pretense of being a New York steakhouse or any of that silliness. The hostess was perfect. Friendly and fast. The food was great, simply and well made. Very good, will be back!

We had a small family gathering here this afternoon. Service was great! I can only speak for the food I ate, which was the broasted chicken. I would drive an hour and a half again to eat it. Truly wonderful! Thanks for the great experience.
They got great omelettes, decent coffee, country style and very comfy atmosphere, very friendly and professional staff. I am a truck driver, had a problem with my load and had to spend 2 days in Gaylord, MN. Both mornings went to Prairie House for breakfast, had great experience both times.
I stop in here every time I come through, foods always pretty good. They are going overboard with the COVID measures however. Can’t get coffee in a real cup, has to be in a to go cup, no refills. That’s just silly
Good food. Great staff. Doing all they could to be Covid responsible!
Understaffed and slow. Don’t come if too hungry or in a hurry. But if you have time, best breakfast in the county!
