This little hidden gem is owned & operated by a husband & wife team. They are awesome! We have been coming here for years. The food is always good, hot & fresh. Lots of locals & if you listen closely you might hear some local gossip highly recommend!!Food: 5/5
The restaursnt is like a small town eatery. The food is very good. Prices reasonable. The hostess/waitress is fantastic. She's very welcoming. She's always happy and wears a great big smile all the time!

Small husband and wife operation. Extremely low prices. & great breakfast and lunch. The service is outstanding. If you have coffee you'll be getting a cup to go. They are really good people!! $9.99 for skirt steak & eggs. Its a hidden little gem!!
This place is amazing! A super cute and comfortable atmosphere with incredible service and food. To start, we arrived when there was a recent change in COVID-19 policies and were a bit confused to how to approach. The server came out to greet and guide us through the process in a very inviting way. The personal care she provided made me mistake her for an owner. Once we opened the food at home we couldn’t wait to dig! It not only looks scrupulous but TASTES phenomenal. My croissant was soft and tasty, and we could tell everything served was freshly made. We can’t wait to return!
A fantastic overall experience! The layout is pleasant. Nothing over-the-top or crazy fancy, but in this case, that's a good thing. That being said, by no means is it a bad atmosphere to hang out in and relax for a bit, which I did. The food was truly superb. The breakfast skillet and pancake actually impressed quite a bit. Sure, it's hard to ruin pancakes. However, my skillet was loaded with corned beef hash, and the quality of the meat was good. Surprisingly flavorful. Portion sizes were generous too. I can't speak to the lunch menu directly, but I saw someone order a sandwich, and when it was brought out, it also looked well-made and was fairly large sized. I'd come back for lunch food, definitely. Prices are incredibly affordable for the quality and quantity of what you get. It's a great deal. But let me get to the best part about this place. I have never in my life had better service at any restaurant I've ever dined in or at. That's a bold statement, I know. However, the woman serving me went well above and beyond out of her way to make sure I was taken care of. I feel embarrassed that I forgot to get her name. People who legitimately care to help others are what really separates the marginal from the magnificent. In this case, this appreciation for customers will not be forgotten as I'm sure anyone else who comes in and experiences it would also attest. I'll happily be returning for future visits, and I would urge anyone else in the area in the mood for some good "greasy spoon" type comfort food to do so as well. If you end up disappointed, I think it's because you wanted to be disappointed. Great stuff!
Here from out of town and decided to try prairie cafe for breakfast. I’m so glad we did! The food was great and the service was amazing. I would definitely recommend. Just be aware you’ll need cash for a tip.Dine in: Yes
Visiting from out of town and decided to try this place for breakfast. Not only was the food great, but honestly some of the nicest and friendliest hospitality I have ever experienced at a restaurant! Definitely will return when back. Ordered breakfast but would love to come back for lunch, everything looked amazing! Prices also were fantastic and budget friendly.
Amazing wait staff. As soon as I walked in I was greeted with a warm hello and a smile. They are very attentive without being overbearing. If nothing else the staff earn 5 stars alone. I was there for breakfast and decided on the Greek omelet. When served it was cooked to perfection. The waitress had recommended onions in the hash browns so I agreed to try it. They were amazing. Lastly I had chosen a pancake for my bread choice. It was served with your standard butter and syrup but the waitress also provided a big helping of whipped cream. It was divine to say the least. They also provide carry out. Sandwiches and salads from their deli. All of which looked fantastic. To be honest I can't wait to go back.
Good breakfast all day place with a full lunch menu. Service was outstanding.Food: 5/5
