Powder River Pizza

Stopped in after spending the day at Lake DeSmet! It was the perfect meal to complement a day spent in the sun & water! The pizza was truly some of the best I’ve ever had - highly recommend the Main Street! Pairs great with Ten Sleep Brewery’s Speedgoat!

Stopped for pizza and beer. Craft beer on tap selection is good with a couple local breweries offered. We opted for the Speed Goat Golden Ale and the SAB Tart Beer local. The Ales was very good but hubby didn't love the Tart Beer and prefers Smith Alley's Summer's Eve gose instead. We ordered a thin crust cheese pizza to share which was hard and tasted like a frozen pizza from the supermarket. And it got harder as it cooled. I think it was overcooked so maybe it would have been better if not cooked so long. Unfortunately many places make their thin crust like this. And we don't do thick crust...just too doughy. Well 2 stars is the best I can do and that was because of the nice selection of craft.

This is not what a margarita is described as in their menu nor what a margarita should even be. It was a cheese pizza with sundried tomatoes sprinkled on top with basil coating the entire thing. Secondly, the caesar salad. Normally you should be able to taste the dressing. No one will be complaining about there being too much, as it simply tasted like grass.

The Thai pizza is so bomb. Josh, our server was very nice and efficient. It didn't need parmesan cheese on top, but why not! They didn't have a vegetarian option, but I asked for not chicken on my half and they did a good job.

This place is a cool place. They have a good variety of beer. The pizza was good and they have a good variety. The problem, which the server let us know before we stayed, was the service. The server let us know he was way behind. It appeared they were short handed. It's a small town with a limited amount of workers. Don't be in a hurry and don't expect the best service. Go for the atmosphere and to enjoy your company and decent food and drinks.

Love the pizza here. The interactions with the waiters are always really good. The service is always wonderful. Sometimes there’s a little bit of a way, but it’s definitely worth it and there are options of specialized personal. Pizzas are off the charts. They’re all really good and I just really think like if you were trying to have a good dinner and a couple beers. This is the place to go.

Only Five Stars because I couldn't give them a million. I was in town for business for 3 days, and I ate at Powder River THREE TIMES it was that good. The dough was amazing and the toppings fresh and fantastic. Every time I went I was greeted by a friendly staff member who took care of me. The food came out fast and man is it TASTY. There are games all around for family members to play. It reminded me of an arcade of old! I highly recommend Powder River Pizza to you and the entire family. I only wish they had one near my hometown.

Awesome Pizza. I had the personal size Pepperoni. Four slices with two strips of Garlic Bread & small container of extra Sauce. Sorry Papa-John, Domino's-Pizza etc. This is my new Pizza Place. Atmosphere is rustic with nostalgia on the wall as decor. Kids gaming area that has nice Video Arcade Style games. There is a Bar with On-Tap or Bottled. I, hope you would visit Powder River Pizza, as I highly, highly recommend it. Plenty of close parking. Well maintained inside & out. Men/Women Restrooms. We had the Mediterranean Pizza on the signature crust and the BBQ pizza on the thin crust. Both were just excellent, especially the Mediterranean! Fresh, luscious ingredients and a wonderful crust. Contrary to the opinion of a previous cranky reviewer, we have eaten pizza all over the world, and we deem this very good pizza indeed!
