Although the slices of chicken were smaller compared to the branch downtown, the flavours were just as good. The chicken is deep in flavours from marination and so are their condiments. I really enjoy being able to pick what I want in my bowl, it makes it more personalized to my taste and it's overall more enjoyable, especially when they allow you to pick up to 7 condiments. Since everything was flavourful, the whole meal was a rollercoaster of different flavours and it was great. Sour to sweet to salty, I just didn't get tired of my food. The poutine on the other hand was average, fries were soggy and a basic gravy. But that was probably because it was delivered. Even though they have so much good stuff going for them, I was a bit disappointed that my food arrived lukewarm and I just wish the overall portions would be a bit larger.
after many times ordering from here, decided to drop by for a review. food taste good and a healthier choice as opposed to most on the food court area. first time ordering experience, not the easiest to get how it works. but the more you come and eat here the process gets more familiar. but staff needs to explain more about the sauces as they never not a single time they mention about the other kinds of sauces available dijon miel, lime, balsamic, etc.. they always ask if you want spicy mayo. good place to eat overall, but why the 3 stars you might ask? well, here’s why! 1- twice this happened…i came to try and order here around 10:30 around that time, then one of the staff on the grill tells me that they open at 11 o’clock. ok so i left. i came back at around 10:57 and ask if it’s okay to order and the staff still insist that they open at 11. i get it, but they lack flexibility and consideration. service is poor EXCEPT for the owner as i went back yesterday and he was professional and seems to care for a good service. 2- staff again lacks understanding that they are working with food. every time most of them see someone they know they do a bounce or something similar in front of the open food and just let them cut to the line no respect whatsoever. just unbelievable 3- minor issue, the cut of chicken are smaller compared to other poulet rouge locations. not a deal breaker, i can still live with it. i could easily give 4 stars if service gets better.
The BEST restaurant in the new food court! This is the place I've been going the most since it opened, tried pretty much everything on the menu and yesterday the poutine. Expected something decent based on the other orders I've seen of it, but it was even better than I expected! That sauce is amazing, the fries, everything! The only downside is how busy the place always is, longer wait times for the food but it is so worth it and the owner and employees work hard non stop! It is worth the wait trust me! If you're hungry, you will leave that spot feeling satisfied! 5 stars all day
I'd rather heat up the planet than their grill. Chicken was unfortunately undercooked and thus I threw it out, didn't want to bother going back there to have them reheat it and possibly overcook it since their culinary capabilities are clearly lacking. Hopefully staff will pay further attention to the quality of the food they serve as I was excited to eat there.
First, it was a little bit confusing. It was not clear what it is in the bowl! More indication would be helpful like step 1, 2…Basically, you choose your chicken, rice or quinoa or both, then choose your topping, the sauce. It is a good option if you want healthy food.
So I decided to eat here just because they kept having so many customers so I assumed it must be pretty good. I was only 3rd in line, and the line up behind me was really long! We did wait quite awhile that I almost gave up and left but, I’m from out of town so I decided to stay and try it before I regret it. The employees were hustling HARD! And I noticed that the reason why it was taking SO long to get my food was because there were a LOT of UberEats waiting to pick up their customers food. I ordered the BBQ chicken and it was absolutely delicious. It was really tasty and good on its own! I think I messed up my order because I added way too many sauces which didn’t balance out really well. I had soya sesame sauce, guacamole and even tzaziki sauce. Next time I’m going to tone it down on the sauces. It was super filling too and I definitely want to try the other flavours next time! But I’ll definitely go when there is less of a line up. Highly recommend!
Wow. I’m very disappointed in what was once my favourite place to eat in the mall. I used to come to Poulet Rouge once a week when they first opened. I would even buy 4 bowls at once so I can bring to work during the week. Now , they get rid of their wraps ,prices went up , extra charge for black olives and worse , the chicken is precooked. It’s still good , but not as good as when it first opened.
Fresh, delicious, healthy and great value. It was my first time here and I understand why there are line ups! I had the Hercules lemon chicken with lime & coriander sauce quinoa bowl with tzatziki and avocado. Had a hard time finishing the huge portion.... but when I did I wanted more!!! Perfect amount of sauce, flavourful not salty. The chicken was amazing! Tender and lemony but not too much. It's so nice to feel full and not sick after greasy burgers and potatoes.. I feel fueled! These guys have a great thing going and I wish them much success. Thank you so much for sharing this vision of yours to have healthy eating options. I can't wait for my next visit! Side note I went back to tell the owner how much I LOVED my meal and got into a conversation with people in line about the quality and enticed a lady, with others in line, to try it! As one repeat customer said "C'est mieux que de la cochonnerie ailleurs !" She's right!
The food is amazing as always, but I would like to especially appreciate the customer service. Upon receiving a wrong order from Uber eats, the owner of the place personally delivered the correct order free of charge. Cannot praise them enough!
I love this place. Flavours are there, veggies are fresh and servings are generous! Costumer service is impeccable, the owner does everything to keep his clients satisfied. Thank you!
