The creators of the Potato Museum managed to collect such detailed information about growing potatoes in New Brunswick. The Potato Museum is very interesting. Also, the building has a café that sells delicious chips and other dishes. Staff is very attentive and friendly.
I wasn't really charmed by the museum, it gives you information about the history of potatoes in Canada plus the exhibition of some tools used for the production. We've been told that the fries served in the restaurant are McCain frozen fries, we then decided to have some fresh ondes at the French Fries Hut!
Charming little place to take a breather as your drive through New Brunswick. Cheap and cute little museum where we learned many interesting facts about the industry. We would recommend it as a stop.Visited onWeekdayWait timeNo waitReservation recommendedNo

Potato museum did not disappoint! Had such a fun time with my family here, they have an excellent restaurant attached and serve some of the BEST potato dishes. Highly recommend the potato soup and the twice baked potato! Great portions and great value! Great comfortable vibe with high quality hand made souvenirs to take home as well. Will come again next time we’re in town!
Stopped here on our way to Fredericton. Museum was interesting but you have to take the time to look and read. Kids enjoyed learning some of the facts and trivia. Good family restaurant. Sweet potato fries were yummy. So were some of their sandwiches, including the Potato World grilled cheese.Visited onWeekdayWait timeNo waitReservation recommendedNo
It is all about celebrating the mighty potato at the Potato World Museum and restaurant. You can't miss the beautiful huge red barn like building housing a very interesting display on the history of the potato farming industry of the area . Enjoy a delicious meal with fast service in a family friendly restaurant with many chairs created from potato barrels . If you love french fries, this is the restaurant's specialty with an enormous list of possible french fry toppings and combinations. However, bring a large appetite because servings are enormous ! Large clean bathrooms are great for bus tours and the whole place is wheelchair accessible. Books , local crafts and homemade pickles and jams are on hand for the shoppers in the crowd. The site can be seen from the highway , making this a very quick and convenient stop for travellers of all ages.
Very informative and interesting and the food in the restaurant was delicious.Visited onWeekdayWait timeNo waitReservation recommendedNo
I think my favorite part of the museum was the overly sassy teenager at the ticket counter, who was brutally honest about how cheesy the exhibit was. She also said that the restaurant wasn't very good because they just serve McCain fries.Visited onWeekendWait timeNo waitReservation recommendedNo
This was an informative, well put together museum focusing, of course, on potatoes . We learned about the history of the potato, how they grow and are harvested, where they are grown around the world and uses for different varieties. We ate lunch in the museum's restaurant, sharing a French fry charcuterie board-- 2 types of fries and 6 dipping sauces. Fun and tasty. All in all, we're glad we stopped by.
