The Post Haus is a German-themed restaurant and pub located in the "Heart of Rutland".We are proud to offer German dishes such as: schnitzel, bratwurst, and Spätzle. We are also continuously trying to improve your dining experience by introducing new menu items and offering seasonal specials.Our goal is create a friendly atmosphere and provide an enjoyable experience for all of our patrons. When I imagined what my meal would look and taste like, I opened the box and this place nailed it. Authentic home cooked tasting stroganoff with a healthy portion of beef mushrooms and onions. A great portion size for both the hungriest, but not so much that if you were to only eat half you would have a great left over portion for the next day. Completely satisfied, will recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a great wholesome meal.
I have bin here at least 5 times now and the food never disappoints. Currently my favorite wing place in kelowna. The waitress Samantha is one of the best we've ever had. She always knows what we want before we even ask shes always ontop of everything. Definitely an awesome experience every time we go
First off - best spiced rum & Pepsi ever! However, the chicken strips & fries were terrible - dry and tasteless. In addition, our waitress kept sneezing near us. I guess she had a cold. Hope we don’t end up sick because of her.
Great place, everything we ordered was really good. Beer selection isn't great. I highly recommend the Criss Cross Fries, the toppings are very generous. The sauce is a little too sweet but if you add some Frank's Red Hot available at the table it's pretty decent. Good daily specials, I'll be back.
Our server was awesome. Very funny and prompt. Disappointed this place so be closing "soon" but will take advantage of it while we still can! Wish they still had spetzle but still yummy food
Called and made reservations for the Penticton Sno-Trackers Snowmobile Club. We had a group of 15 and they accommodated us. We had great service by Penny and we had an awesome welcoming atmosphere!! We will be back!! This pub will be our go to when we are in town. Thank you!!
I used to order the spätzle when I wanted something that reminded me of home. They no longer have it. The lack of German food on the menu makes me think that they should just rebrand the restaurant to reflect that it has lost its German cuisine.... Also schnitzel tip only Weiner schnitzel is supposed to be breaded. The other schnitzels focus on the sauce.... And the wait staff were unfriendly and as a German that's saying a lot
What heppend to this place? The kitchen needs revamping, the menu needs a few more authentic German entress's and this place would be rocking! The cook BTW is amazing and the food is delicious . Thank you.
I was looking for a place to eat liver and onions. My friend and I shared a meal at lunch. It was a large serving and perfect for lunch. Quite tasty. Good service.
I had the 1 pound wings and they were Awesome! Extra crispy as I requested! It is such a great atmosphere!
