We have had issues with our main shower from Day 1. Portugal Homes didn't install the shower fixtures properly, and they sent a different plumber out 3 times in the first year trying unsuccessfully to fix it. Manny initially enticed us with his "guarantee" that he would take care of us.  As first time home buyers, this was the deciding factor to go with Portugal Homes...but it turned out to be just a sales tactic. When we noticed that the shower had been slowly leaking for 3 years, Manny came out to inspect it and told us that we would have to deal with it ourselves. So much for a "guarantee". Don't expect anything different or special from Portugal Homes than you would from any other builder, no matter what they say about their guarantee or higher quality process, they are going to move to the next project and leave you to deal with their mess. Now we have to rip apart the entire bathroom to fix Portugal Homes' mistake.
