Portraits Now

Got my portrait done here for my grad photos and they came out better than great! They offer tons of choices in poses, props and backgrounds which made me be able to personalize the photos. Great staff. 10/10

Make sure you insist on seeing your pics before you're done your appointment because they DO NOT CARE about students at all. I asked to see my pics before I left to make sure that everything looks good i.e. background, pose, smile etc but they simply said no without giving me a good reason to. Now I do not like any of pics, sent them an email and all they could say was we have a mirror so you could check before. Like? Are you telling me its so bizarre to request to see your pic to make sure everything is good, and a mirror is not the same thing as a camera. And what if I do not like the background? Do yourself a favour and book somewhere else if you can. These guys are DISAPPOINTING to say the least. They ruined experience and my grad pictures.

Wonderful!! We are so so pleased with every aspect of Portraits Now. They photographed our sons competitive hockey team with their new Sports Style and it's phenomenal! The photographer was very organized and wonderful with the boys. I've sent many emails back and forth with Berni and the staff and I have nothing but amazing things to say. Always promt, professional and very accommodating... especially when I requested something that wasn't a regular item for them, they went above and beyond anything I could have hoped for to make sure I got what I wanted and I'm grateful. I highly recommended Portraits Now, especially for sports teams - you won't be disappointed!

If you can get your graduation photos done elsewhere, I strongly recommend that you do. I go to uOttawa, and it's the same company. First of all, the people working there have horrible customer service and are incredibly rude. Second of all, they are over-priced as hell. I paid over $100 for a single picture. No digital files, nothing. A single picture cost me $100. On top of that, it takes 4-6 weeks to print off said $100 single picture. I am glad that I am graduating so I never have to take a picture here again.

The staff were very pleasant and were quick to let their clients know when difficulties arose the doors of all the university buildings were locked, even if they were not supposed to be. I very much enjoyed my experience and the photographer was excellent!

Very unprofessional and awful customer service. Firstly, they do not have the exact graduation ceremony dress for PhD students, its a different color. Second, they delivered the final picture with my mother hand cropped from the photo It was not like this in the proof photos, when I was odering ! when I asked them to fix it, initially they asked for money for fix their mistake and latter they told that they manager will call and he/she never called. I called to ask them to let me talk to manager, they did not answer the phone and letting the answering machine take the call...while I was at Carleton unicenter and I could see they are just sitting at their desk and do nothing. I do not recommend doing your graduation photos at this location, go to kijji and find a photograpger who comes to your ceremony and they will do the same thing for much cheaper price and of course better service.

My daughters hockey team purchased individual photo's and team photo's and the quality of the pictures and service was number one. I would highly recommend Portraits Now. Thank you a pleased hockey mom.
