They had my favorite salmon with mashed potatoes, loved it! Definitely visiting again next time I'm around.
Came in for brunch on our last day before heading out of Pemberton and down to Whistler. The owner was friendly and provided great service - we were able to get drinks quickly and take the time to order our food. I had the Eggs Benedict - yum, and my partner loved his omelette. Felt right at home and no hesitation to give 5 out of 5.
Positives: Instantly greeted at the door and seated promptly! Negatives: Seated so quickly, we didn’t have time to leave before noticing the lack of ambience and laughably empty layout. Servers were courteous and helpful, but the food was incredibly slow, especially considering one meal was deep fried and the other entirely consisting of salad elements. We were 1 of 3 tables in there and it took over 40 minutes. Both beers on tap were flat and lacked carbonation even though they were two different kegs. The indoor temperature was cold enough that we elected to keep our winter coats on. In the end, the food was acceptable, but not for the investment of time accrued.
Had a wonderful afternoon lunch here after a snow shoe about 30 minutes out of Pemberton. The views were incredible!! We could see mountains for days from our table which made lunch even better than we imgined it could be. Our server was adorable and attentive, and the food was outstanding! I highly recommend the hamburger, pork sandwich and an order of fries and onion rings for any meal there. Good beer selection as well. There was ample parking available which was nice as well. We will definitely be back here during our next holiday in Whistler.
AVOID THIS PLACE! Came here before and the food was decent...however, second time around I ordered fish and chips and the bottom of the fish was soggy, put me off my appetite. Not impressed, can't even cook the simplest things...looking in the kitchen on the way out I notice two indians goofing around. The only good thing about the place was the waitress, she was polite and courteous.
We love the onion rings here drinks are great I like the way the light shines through the inside. patio space on the sunny and shady side of the building, tall booths for a bit of privacy yet still a social feeling environment. I HAD THE COWBOY STEAK HERE A FEW TIMES AND REALLY ENJOYED IT. Service has always been great, park underneath if you have a car it was easier for us when it was busy.
Had the Creamy Chicken Avocado Penne. One of the best meals I have had in a long time. Service was excellent and the server had some helpful advice about the Duffy Lake Rd. I will be back next time I am through Pemberton
Food was excellent, server was excellent, patio with a view was excellent... couldn't give the final star because, although it had potential, inside was barren... need to fill the space and warm it up.
As working guys we were served with a different standard than everyone else. Other retired customers were seated quickly and brought water. For us they ignored us at the door no water.. waited 20 mins to have an order and had to get up and goto the bartender to order.. waitress came by with coffee for everyone else and walked past us. Breakfast took more than 45 mins to cook. Lost money working on a sunday by going there for breakfast. Not impressed. Huge double standard. Food was good tho.
Good service and good food with matching prices. I enjoy it. I went 3 times in one week.
