The Portage FD is a career fire department comprised of 62 firefighters, providing fire protection and ALS ambulance service to the citizens of Portage.
The Portage FD has 3 firehouses. We operate 2 ALS Engines, 1 ALS Quint (ladder), 1 ALS Tower Truck, 3 Rescues (ALS ambulances), a Dive/Rescue Truck, a 36' Fire Boat and a personal water craft.
