Please do not mistake this business for the Portage Electronics in Portage Lakes (Akron). It is not the same owner nor the same business. Mr. Park is the real deal! He has been serving the Akron area for over 35 years, and has been an electronics technician for over 45 years. He's been repairing electronics since before Betamax was introduced! He didn't waste time suing this business even after they used the same name as his existing business, only because he's too nice of a guy to do it!

I am one to withhold reviews but their service and knowledgeable staff require acknowledgement. Great prices too! They earned a life long customer in me. They repaired my circuit board for my furnace saving me $635+ and made sure to do same day service so my children and I would have heat that night. A++++ all American small business.

I took my Xbox controller in to be repaired, the left toggle stick was acting up, seems like an easy fix. They had it for a few weeks and after calling 3-4 times I was told that they couldn't do anything. So, about a month of having my controller, rendering my Xbox useless mind you, they still didn't get the job done. Terrible customer service and even worse repairs... which is sad because they seem like really nice people. :/

The lady in who owns it is very nice and had an awesome conversation with my fiance about tech. Everything is reasonably priced too.

I took my stereo in for repairs over the winter. After not hearing back for about a month I called and was told I would be called right back. Another month or so passed without hearing so I called again and was told the same. Finally, after about 3 months of calling in I got my stereo back... still with the same problem I took it in with. I brought it back in under the guarantee but got it back again with the same problem, simply being told that there are a number of things that could be causing it. So, over 3 months and $90 later, I still have the same problem.
