Perfect idea for a night out with friends or a good old date night! This is a must if you’re looking for a fun night out. The staff at the concession are so helpful and friendly too!
The kiddos and I love the Port Elmsley Drive In! It's a nod to days gone by with a super relaxed atmosphere. The staff are friendly and down to earth. There are some swings and a slide for the littles to play in before the movie. I'll be honest, I spend half the time watching the stars. We go every year.
It's well worth the drive from Ottawa to enjoy 2 movies for a great price. They also have a modest playground for children, a snack bar with homestyle burgers, fries, popcorn and more. This is a truly classic and family tradition-making experience.

I've been twice and both times were excellent. It's only one screen, so the selection doesn't change weekly. The staff are friendly. The washrooms are clean. The concession stand is great. Even the other guests are friendly. Dog friendly drive-in. Great outdoor entertainment in the country.
Absolutely amazing!!! My wife and I went for a date night, we live in Ottawa and it was a nice scenic drive and not that far away. They are open almost every night with new and current movies, they list the movies that will be playing on Tuesdays on the website. So check it out and support the little businesses
Absolutley love this place! They keep the nostalgia alive with a vintage-like cartoon played in the intermission. Great rates for 2 movies! Canteen for food and washrooms available. For warm buggy nights and to avoid idling for AC, purchase cheap screen from the dollar store or use baby stroller screens to put on your windows. You can keep your windows down and be bug free!
We made the trip down from Ottawa, and we are glad we did. Not that big into movies or cars, but there is something absolutely magical about the experience. Had a great time. Staff was friendly. Everything was reasonably priced. Snack bar and washrooms were clean and modern. Be prepared for mosquitoes.
It was a fun date night with Shrek and Jarassic Park. Concessions weren't open but staff were friendly and fun to talk to! Sound was pretty good ... That was provided by my car
It's one of the few still around which makes it nice to have. The screen wall could use a good paint job, the price is okay that said you get 2 movies so even better. Lots of mosquitoes so bring a net. Not bad for a different family night out.
