Such a good centre for the residents there. It contains gym, rink, library, pool and many more.nIf you like watching kids playing hockey, this is the best spot. They offer many high chairs with table facing the the rink. I think this is the only centre has this offer. A small restaurant there has drink and some hot food. Please check it out.nThe tulips are started blooming in the entrance.nThe May Days festival held in the Centre was great. It was almost covered all interesting things for all ages.
Amazing facility. We were here for a lacrosse tournament, everybody had good things to say about this place.nnDressing rooms were roomy and had no smell, bathroom area was awesome too and the best part of the lockers is the water bottle fill station at the sinks.nnThe turf on the box lacrosse court is great, once the players got their feet used to it they liked it.nnI did a small walk around and this place is huge, maintenance doesn't like how sprawling it is but I guess it was built around the old facility so what you gonna do?nnI really liked the fact that I can grab a beer too, the selection was great. Recommend the hazy pale ale The food was also good at that restaurant.nnParking is super tight down below but didn't have a problem with finding a spot.
I cannot believe how poorly the gym and pool is designed. This community center will be around for another 50 years and the facilities are already outdated not to mention the changing room for men. It’s truly unbelievable how ridiculously smallnThe change room is. Two showers 5 inches from each other and two small benches to change in with lockers directly in front of you. Tax payers money at work
Such a premium and decent community centre of minimalism space design with lots of positive vibes for all ages to come and spend a wonderful day! Read and grow wisdom at Terry Fox library. Get the interaction fun for gatherings and meetings. Swim or play balls and sweat out all the blues. Watching little living things skating around the big spacious arenas is full of visual joy already! Air is warm and cosy everywhere! Love this space so much!
Today I had a fabulous field trip with classmates and teachers in Port Coquitlam. First, we visited the modern and brilliant Community Centre. It was built in 2020 and has multiple functional areas, such as reception, gymnasium, arena, Fitness Centre, Games Room, Leisure Pool,Terry Fox Library, cafeteria, and spacious underground parking lots. Outdoor Terry Fox Square includes playground, garden, sports courts, and outdoor swimming pool, etc. Thanks the staff for their wonderful introduction and guidance on the entire building and varieties of programs. Then, we had a great heritage art walk nearby, for example, Our Journeys at Leigh Square Community Arts Village, the Salmon Cycle, the Pride Public Art Project, and other abundant murals. Really enjoyed these beautiful and meaningful art works in PoCo. Love such an amazing day and this creative city!
