I was a bit skeptical before ordering as there were so many one star reviews recently but my experience was excellent.nnThe food was amazing! The app experience was excellent too. Unlike some other apps this was well designed, it gave clear options and the best part was the option to customize every item before placing the order, unlike other reviews mentioned, I didn’t have any issues with the payment too, I used apple pay, which was super convenient. We ordered ahead and the food was ready and hot at the time we went to collect it through the drive way. A pleasant smiling person greeted and handed over the food. The chicken tasted fresh, well cooked and yummy. Even the sides like the biscuits, fries, coleslaw, gravy all tasted fresh and delicious. So when you read the reviews now, I feel it all depends on who is serving and preparing the order. Anyway I’m sure gonna visit again.
Got 3 chicken sandwiches and fries/drink for takeout. It was pretty good but my only complaint for which i wish i could give 4.5 stars instead of 4 was my spicy sandwich was not really that spicy at all. They went pretty light on the spicy mayo and it was disappointing in that aspect. Otherwise everything was great and timely. Will be returning.. hopeful for a spicier sandwich next time :
I am a big popeyes fan and my kids too. I wish i was writing a 5star review as it is my favourite.but unfortunately i had to write my worst experience. I ordered family meal of 12 chicken piece, i check 2 pieces and both were blackish and pinkish from inside. Meat was gross i went back to the branch to get it exchanged, they were nice in terms of making new batch for me. And when i reached home and opened it, it was 8drums and 4 thighs is this what you put in a 12 piece meal! And then again the meat was worst then before. All blackish and pinkish inside. It was so disgusting meat i had to throw my whole family meal, my kids were starving and we ate the fries and then madenPeanut butter and jam sandwich.nI never seen such gross meat quality.
Went on for lunch, got a 6 piece chicken wing combo. Wings were absolutely tiny.Phoned in to make sure I received the correct order. Was told to come back and they would give me 6 wings to replace.nnOnce I arrived I told the speaker what was going on and was asked to come to the window, so I did. Once I was at the window I was lectured about how those are the wings we serve. After arguing with the lady at the window I ask, why did you tell me to come back and you were going to replace them. After a very frustrating interaction she gave me the replacement wings.nnVery disappointed and confused. The person that answered the phone was kind and courteous but apparently did not communicate with the lady working in the store.nnWill not be returning.
If you are going through drive-thru I've had a bunch of issues. I ordered a 5 spicy tender combo only got 4 and one of them were a very old piece. Other occasions I've missed a biscuit, or not sauce when i asked for it. I also asked for a Coke Zero and watched them pour in regular Coke, then dump out the Coke and used the same cup to add my Coke Zero along with half of the cup of ice, this wouldn't be an issue for me but someone with diabetes or didn't want real sugar that's an issue.nnIf you're willing to wait and dine in, usually you will get everything hot and it's very good.nnTLDR; If you can dine in do it, avoid drive-thru
