Ponytails + Horseshoes

I have A TON of curly, thick hair. And I have been through the ringer with bad haircuts. Kat at Ponytails does the best cuts and color, she's thoughtful and she cares so much! She takes the time to figure out what is best for my hair and never rushes through my appointment. Also, the staff is overall super helpful and friendly..I love Hannah, she is just a breath of fresh air. Such a lovely salon.

I had an amazing experience with Alexis. She listened to what I wanted and provided suggestions to achieve the balayage look that I wanted. As my hair is thin and damaged, I needed something gentle yet still wanted a noticeable change. Alexis was very careful with my hair and revived it. Best Haircut Of My Life. Alexis gave me feedback throughout the whole visit on what she was doing to add natural curls and how to take care of my hair, and the gentle layers and curtain bangs she gave me were exactly what I wanted!! Today was my first time going here and the vibes were immaculate. I got my haircut by Breanna and she was so friendly and nice! I felt extremely comfortable and Breanna was very easy to talk to. She even gave me YouTube recommendations since we like similar shows. I also bought the styling cream she used on my hair and my hair feels so smooth. I HIGHLY recommend this place and I of course recommend Breanna! :

Just saw Alexis for the first time about a month ago. She made sure that I was 100% happy with my hair and was super open about everything she was doing. I’ve never been more satisfied with the outcome of my hair than with her.. the girl is working towards being a blonde/balayage expert and she is killing it!

I can’t recommend this salon enough. The ambience is perfect - you’re warmly welcomed but there’s no pressure to be bubbly and chatty if you just want to relax. Prices are super fair for the excellent service! As someone with naturally curly/wavy hair who likes a low-maintenance style, I’ve been rocking the same excellent layered cut for five months with no change in style other than the length - and I still love it! My stylist Morgan understood my hair and exactly what I wanted. He also gives the most excellent head massages while working in the conditioner to make you feel just a little extra pampered. I highly recommend both Morgan and PoHo! Both are excellent.

I have been coming here for last three years. Always thought of reviewing them but keep forgetting. My experience every single time has been amazing no matter who I see. My stylist today was brenna. She listened to what I had to say and did a fantastic job on my hair !! You go girl :

I went to this salon for almost 2 years and saw the same stylist throughout that time. I had a few good experiences but then i asked for her to take my hair from a copper to a chocolate brown and my hair was dyed black. I advised her i wasn't thrilled with it and showed her some photos of what i wanted, and she ended up bleaching my hair and giving me something that was a vibrant fire truck red with a hot root. I had never had my hair bleached before and it caused a serious amount of damage, so much so that i felt safer going back to box dye rather than paying $100+ for terrible dye jobs. The environment is upscale, but beyond the stylist who damaged my hair, there seems to be a lot of drama between staff members. It's not somewhere I would recommend going unless you have a referral from someone who has rave reviews about their stylist. * After seeing the response to my review, I would further like to add that the length of time that has passed since my last visit in no way negates the experience i had in going to this salon. Being combative, regardless of when the client was last in, is not a great business practice.
