Pontiac Lake State Recreation Area - Modern

We camp here several times a season being as we live locally. Make a reservation, they tend to fill up very fast. Restrooms and showers have always been reasonably clean and there are many private to semi private sites to choose from, and some amazing views as well.

We camped for 3 nights and loved it! Very nice campground with sites that are private to semi-private and some that are open. Lots of trails to walk,bike and horse ride. Definitely coming back.

This camp is VERY clean. Showers we're one of the best I've seen at a state park. Shower pressure was incredible. And it was very very hot when you turned it up. The campground itself was clean. Not very large but it was nice. Almost everyone there the weekend we went had dogs but majority of them were well behaved.

Been coming here for years. (Live close by) it's my haven. We go multiple times for a week. Clean employees are friendly and helpful. And quick to to respond to any issues. Love this place.

Large beautiful Sandy Beach. The same continues all the way out to the bouys. No weeds. The water is a little murky this year but all the area lakes are for some reason. Large bike and hiking trail. Large picnic area. Ample parking.
