Pompeii's offers a nice place for lunch in a small town. Service was extremely friendly and attentive. Made a mistake of packaging our meals to go, but we wanted to eat in rather than in the 20F temperatures outside. Food was tasty and provided as expected. Not fancy, but fancy is for big city folk.
First time I tried this place a few years back I wasent sure if I liked it to much but recently within the past 3 months and I think we have ordered here 6+ times within the 3 months. I love there pizza! Usually we get pizza and bacon pizza with a order of the cheese bread. .we tried the garlic cheese bread and it was great I got myself the Hawaiian pizza wish it had bacon on it but still it was great. The employees are always super nice. Super welcoming environment. Prices are kinda high but prices for everything is high definitely worth it.
We ordered pizza and it was pretty good. I've had better, and I've had much worse! The young lady that delivered the pizza was very friendly and had the forethought to bring extra plates as she seen that we're staying in a motel. Highly recommend this place!
The Pizza here was not good at all. We have tried it twice now and it was terrible both times. I am so confused on why there are so many good pizza reviews for this place. The pepperoni pizza tasted like cardboard. I’m not sure what the guys that are making the pizzas back there are doing but something is terribly wrong. Maybe get a different recipe? Different ingredients for the sauce? Not sure, but it is very bad. They are the only pizza place in town and they could absolutely kill it if they tried just a little harder!
Seen them on a web search for pizza in baldwin and looked like it may be worth the 45 minute drive. It was. Great customer service,fresh dough,fresh veggies,and cooked fast and perfectly. We dined in because we liked the atmosphere. Very reasonable price and a very clean establishment. The bread knots are some of the best I've had. If you like a fresh tasting pizza without a bunch of extras to make it taste fake then this is the place. We'll be nack.
My wife swears by this place but i found it to be average. Didnt care for the calzone last visit and my pizza sub this time around was slightly undercooked. Maybe 3rd times a charm, we'll see.Food: 3/5
Wanted to like this place. Seemed like it was going to be a nice place in a nice small town but I need to honestly warn everyone that pizza and bread sticks here tasted like cardboard! Definitely the worst pizza I have ever had.
I have to say, I have been eating at Pompeii's for 25 + years, and yesterday was the most disappointing. The subs and the poem has owned had very little meat. The crust were very done on the outside but raw on the inside. There were no sauces, that were requested, with anyting. My pomezone was not even cut. When I got home, we were all very disappointed.
Hands down the worst pizza my wife and I have ever purchased. Staff seemed upset we interrupted their lunch, obviously properly cooking our pizza wasn’t a priority. Seriously it was raw, we couldn’t even feed this trash to our dogs. Avoid at all costs.
Best salad I've I had. The pizza omg no words to describe it. Last time I was there was on 2012. And believe me I have not had any thing like that since. Can't wait to go back. That well be one of the first places I'll be going
