Never had an issue with the police here in riverview but the officer that always sits at Huntington elementary in riverview is extremely rude and always in a bad mood. If you are going to be a officer monitoring a elementary school 24/7 I don't understand the hostility especially around children. Aside from that he will scream at parents dropping off their children at the wrong drop off spot but will allow vehicles to sit in the middle of traffic to chat with him.

When the Rivergreen apts building was burning down about a year ago I saw multiple officers run into the building while it was a-blazed to save the residents of our city. I will never forget that night and how scary it was for someone being in the next building over. Riverview PD are absolute professionals. They do their job with honor and dignity. Thank you for serving our community!

This Department runs Very Hot and Cold. IF they feel like doing their job they will. If they don't they will violate a person's rights and worse. I hope the next Chief is better than Interim Chief Bemis who ordered me out of the station and said that "he was done with me". I take this to mean that I am to do my own policing from now on. I will file a complaint about this, however it won't be to the Mayor or Council as I doubt based on their history that they will take any action regarding this.

Every encounter with the Riverview Police Department has been highly professional. In complex cases of theft and community protection, Riverview PD has demonstrated themselves as first in class.

There Is a level of respect all police officers are suppose to show people in general. I have never felt so disrespected by anyone person in law enforcement as I feel today. I do not appreciate being told if I do not shut up I will be thrown in lock up, for a non-volient or drug related ticket. Some Police officers treat people like they are above the law. I was treated like a common criminal in front of my children. I wasn't allowed for them to be picked up, they were transported in a police car to a police station. When I had multiple people able to pick them up immediately. They wouldnt allow someone to pick up my vehicle My kids are so young it wasn't cool for them. Sometimes I wonder if some police officers have any souls. It was a horrible experience in which my kids could of avoided seeing, their mom being arrested for a non-crimal/non drug related offense, the officer acting as if it was joke or funny is just so unprofessional. The Lieutenant was very rude WHEN we arrived to the station. Some day the people you treat like dirt are the same people that may have to help you. I will be submitting a report of my complaints. my experience with the officers today was very very rude. And it makes my hate for officers an even deeper hate.

Racist Police Department. I was Driving, to go pick a friend up from work and was Constantly Followed by Two Riverview Officers who had nothing else better to do. I will never live in Riverview

So hats off to the men and woman of the riverveiw police station I locked my keys in our car and I just got three gallons of milk for my one year old son and we didnt have the 95 dollars for the tow truck service to unlock our car for us so they sent a unit out to our house and they unlock our car for us with no problem so just want to say thanks guys

Just got harassed for no reason! Just out for a walk with my kids, a formal complaint will be made, KNOW you’re rights people, and allways have you’re phone on record
