I have been dealing with Polar Industrial since 2019, when I happened to show up at their shop looking for parts for my plate tamper. And it was at the same time as their customer appreciation BBQ. Fast forward to the current day, I have over 20 Wacker Neuson pieces of equipment & have been getting great sales/service from them ever since. They bend over backwards for me & treat me like one of the family. At this present moment, they're working on a rush piece of equipment that I dropped off for an emergency repair, a product that they don't even sell. But with their service department being so diverse, there isn't much they can't help with. Also, the office staff has babysat my dog while I've run errands around the city. Like come on, who does that.nnI could go on about my positive experiences but I'd have to write a novel & I am getting hungry. Thanks Matt, Dave, Curtis, & crew for treating me better than I deserve. The poor review are true, I had experienced the same.nThey took my credit card number and the guy that was working on my generator didn't know what he was doing and I had to help him troubleshoot my generator.nIn the end I took the generator away after few internet search fix the issue myself and it was simple.nmoney wasted lost jobs.nnYah, don't give your credit card before the job is done and if you do give your credit and they charge for nothing, call the credit card company and dispute the charge.
The crew at Polar is top notch. I was having heating issues with my melting kettle reaching and maintaining optimum application temps. After multiple attempts for repair at another reputable shop Polar did want I needed when I needed with minimal downtime and costs. Matt and Howard did solid work and will be the one company touching my equipment from now on. Call them today.
this company is a poor representation of what a Kohler and Wacker Nueson dealership should be.
We purchased a plate tamper from Mike, everything went really smooth so decided to bring our 2 jumping jacks in for tune-ups.nI get an email for the first machine 3 weeks after we dropped them off with an estimate of $3100 for new engine and various other repairs plus a 2 hour inspection charge of $290. We have 15 small engines and everytime we drop one off for a tune up its 1 hour max of shop time, never 2 hours. After seeing this is cancelled arrive on the second machine.nThe shop manager was rude in his email and seemed to not care, on pick up they didn't even fully assemble the first machine and obviously didn't do the tune up that it was dropped off for. We will not be using Polars service department again, I would avoid them and will be letting other contractors know our experience.
