Discovered after returning from vacation my car battery was dead and needed replacement. Late on Friday afternoon of a long weekend, I called Polar and talked to Rob to see if they had a replacement in stock. They did and I headed right down there with my jump started Corolla. Rob took care of the sale then installed my new battery in less than 10 minutes. He gave me some good advice for the future about car battery usage. Overall, great experience with Rob at Polar and now I’m set for winter when it comes!
I have been going to this place for the last 8+ years, would find it simple just to go and get my new battery installed, they were kind and found the service to be good, had recommended it to three four people as well. Unfortunately this has changed the person at the counter that helped me seemed annoyed at being bothered for some assistance, they also did not want to install the new battery on the same car they had installed their Polar batterry battery 3-4 years ago claiming it was not allowed because they had to reset something and they did not have the tools even though they did it last time and saw the polar battery. A battery place that cannot install a battery has no purpose, so I took my business elsewhere and will not come back. I will also let the people I recommended it to in the past know not to expect the same service as before and just go somewhere else for a battery.
I'm about to replace my battery, not because it has issues but because I'm about 8 years in now on the same battery. Since I replaced my Motomaster battery with a premium battery from Polar, it's been perfect. They installed it in the parking lot without fuss. I won't consider going elsewhere.
I had a slow cranking starter this morning. I brought it in and they Load tested my old battery....told me it was probably good for another year 400 cranking amps new one is 650. I decided to replace it now rather than later...the price was excellent and they had it in stock....installation would be $20 but I installed it myself using their tools. I'd definitely go back.

I came into the shop with battery issues on Friday, Eric and Dave were super helpful with helping me fix my problems. Genuine place full of amazingly helpful people. A car battery that dies after 3 years? I won't be wasting my money there anymore. Costco has 100 months warranty for a similarly priced battery.
So I first called century batteries on a product called armada 200 watt solar kit A foldable solar panel / mppt solar controller They gave me a price on just the kit no blue tooth module or any extra cables of 760 bucks taxes in I felt somthing was off on the price So I called POLAR BATTERIES on boundary road in Vancouver and talked with a gentleman called Glen I went in and walked out with the same newer panel that century battery showed me I can see it’s a new model due to the connections and legs were way different Anyhow long story short mi walked out with all extra And I only paid less then century batteries said it would be for all including the accessories I needed Would not ever go back to century batteries They are Gouging their customers
Great service from the folks at Polar Battery. They took my old battery off my hands and gave me a great price on a new group 51 battery for my daughter's Honda civic!
