We got lunch here with our family of 5 for the first time a week ago and it was fantastic. The staff was friendly, helpful, and went above and beyond things like chopping mango into small bites for our toddler. The food was tasty, fresh, and we loved getting to try our own combinations. My husband has celiac and we appreciated the clear gluten free designations. We will be back!
Bottom line: pretty much as advertised, relatively fresh, on- the-go takes on Japanese/Korean food. Think it's priced in too high though, so value-wise it's a bit lacking. Pros: nice, relatively fresh ingredients combined to create sushi/Korean/Japanese food you can consume easily and on the go. High ratings for convenience and quality. Cons: this is, by design, a fast meal experience. That means there isn't any dining/hospitality experience to go along with it, and consequently the price point doesn't seem justified.
I went with my mom for the first time and we loved everything about the experience! The wonderful employees were patient and kind as we got our bearings we're not very familiar with a build-your-own model! and answered our questions about the ingredients. They even made suggestions about flavor combinations : the variety of ingredients were fresh and tasted great. We'll be coming back next time we're in Grand Rapids.
First time in a Poke bowl place! Staff was pleasant, and the place was SO clean! The food was very good. My husband got a BYOB and enjoyed it a lot. I picked the mini. I am a Bariatric patient so I needed high protein and small portions. The mini bowl was still too big for me but that's ok! I was still able to eat all the salmon with a bit of each of the other ingredients. It was a wonderful treat for me as I haven't had sushi since my surgery! We will definitely visit when in the area again!
First time trying a poke bowl, they recommended their most popular one, and it was so good!!! The inside is also super cute, I loved the vibes of the people and this place :
I am from out of town looking for lunch near my next meeting and found Poke Toki. Run, don’t walk to get your next poke bowl! The service was great, the restaurant and bathroom were super clean and the food! I had the sweet salmon bowl with all kinds of goodies. Great flavors and everything was super fresh. Highly recommend!!!
This place is FLAMES! Food is always fresh, taste great, and the service is on point. There is cooked, raw, and vegetarian proteins. Get yourself a bowl to go. Get home and pour a glass of whiskey on ice. Prime time. Or just go for lunch. Whatever worksFood: 5/5
My favorite poke bowl place. Lots of options, friendly staff, if you want the flying fish roe you have to special request them they are available but under the counter and not on the menu board. Very healthy and flavorful. We go back often.
If you are looking for fresh, delicious and probably healthy food, look no further! I was a bit overwhelmed my first time, but the staff was very friendly and helpful! I will definitely be back for more.
Visiting from out of town, super good poke! Had a lot more mix in options than my local poke place : Vegetarian options: Non meat proteins are available!
