We are visitors from Toronto and on the way back to Mantane, we found this excellent restaurant to stop for a lunch. We haven't try all lobster rolls in the peninsula yet, but this is the best lobster rolls we had so far. Fresh & juicy! The best part is the owner see us trying too hard and confused in French, he was so nice to speak English and tell us what we have there.
It seems to be unfair giving them 3 stars but I had two things that I didn’t like. The first one was that on their menu, it said “pizza of the day” and what I got was a SLICE lol! I asked the waitress how big it was and she told me that what it was a big pizza. Secondly, I really was expecting better than what I had in term of quality and the good reputation of this place. Overall, it was okay but I wouldn’t come back a second time.
Unfortunately the restaurant was closed for the season, although not updated in Google. Had a chat with possibly the owner and she said sorry about not having time to change the status. I will give a max star rating for that.
A limited menu but great selection of fresh seafood. The lobster rolls were generous and delicious.
A well-reviewed restaurant, which left us with disappointed expectations. The service was fairly slow, and the food was passable, but uninspired. The presentation was good, but the Coquille St Jacques was made with dehydrated potato, and both this and the seafood pizza were skimpy in seafood. I've grown to expect better here in the Gaspé, and was sadly disappointed.
The food was very good but a bit cold... We had crab and lobster and it was tasty and we had to open the whole thing to get to the meat so it was a lot of fun!
We were really impressed by food quality! Very very nice service! Really recommended.
