Took an early morning walk this morning. So peaceful and very well maintained. We enjoyed seeing the hidden surprises along the trail for the kids to find which I attached.
I bought my Cub Pack to the nature center for them to earn a merit pin. They really enjoyed it. Even though it was raining. We had a young man show us the animals that live there. And then we went on a hike. The center is huge and beautiful! We will be back.
The staff is friendly and helpful. I particularly love the beehive indoors where you can watch them at work through the glass. There is also a puppet show theater, a fish tank, and a few animals in terrariums.
Charming place in all seasons, spent a cold winter afternoon sitting inside and watching the birds, counted 12 different types! Wonderful and friendly staff, good coffee, nice fireplace and they rent snowshoes, innertubes for sledding not during covid.
Very nice preserve with excellent walking paths. Nature center sells great items including local honey.
This place is great. They set up a sledding hill in the winter. They have a slower hill and a faster hill for sledding. In the summer the trails are very nice also
