A true fish and chips dinner, a very busy spot but if you need to wait for a table it is worth it. I saw a lot of faces of staff and customers from the old John’s Lunch. The food comes out fast and hot, with very generous portions. Beer comes cold and in a bottle. This place is well worth the visit.
After years of seeing photos and hearing how good Pleasant Street Diner was I finally got a chance on my Vacation home to try them first hand.nNot many places in Alberta have clams and fries. But the ones that do are not great.nPleasant Street Diner didn't disappoint us.nFrom the quality of service and friendly staff. The food was great!nThanks again Jennifer for the photo.
One of my favorite places to go when I'm home. Fish and chips with a side of gravy is perfect. I brought my husband here and he still talks about how simple and Delicious it was.nI gave a 4 for service because I found on all 3 occasions I'm home for a month and we gone 3 times already and only once the service was less than. I ordered the clam and scallop combo for takeout. The seafood was really fresh and delicious and it was cooked perfectly. I didn’t receive any of the homemade tartar sauce with my order so next time I will definitely ask for some.
