Tried ordering 3 street tacos w beans and rice for my 12 year old daughter. They charged me $5 for each baby sized taco with almost no meat, no rice and beans. My daughter was still hungry so I just went to I G A bought a chunk of meat, corn tortillas, 1 onion ,celantro and 1 lime. Made 30 tacos just like they do for $25 .My Tacos had more ingredients in them then playa put on the plate.Just proves how expensive and how much of a hustle they got over there. I'll never go back. If you like fake,overpriced garbage this is the spot.Heres the ones I made at home in 15 minutes for $25 made 30 tacos. Now there's 2 ways of doing the shell but they will probsbly charge you extra for. Lime on mine was free too.
Really tasty, quality ingredients and creative menu with some great options besides the standard Mexican restaurants. Perfect post hike dinner place! Will definitely come back! If you like it spicy, make sure to ask for the habanero sauce!
We moved here from Southern California home to great Mexican restaurants a few months ago. We happened upon Playa Bonita, never expecting to find food as good, if not better, than our favorite in So Cal!! The food is authentic, the margaritas tasty, the service excellent and the prices reasonable! BTW, Taco Tuesday tacos are 3/$5.00.
It was a great experience. My husband has worked on their HVAC equipment in the past and the kitchen is really clean. They run a tight ship and we as customers can breathe easy knowing they care, where other restaurants don't.Food: 4/5

I had a most disappointing dinner, chili rellono was tough and bitter and not rolled in egg and the most awful tasting cheese on top UGH I also had a chimichanga that was filled with dry chicken with a dollop of sour cream on top. The wait staff were having fun talking with the bartender rather than checking on how I liked my meal. I will never go there again!
Great food! Awesome customer service! I have only been to the Marysville and Granite Falls restaurants but both of them have Stellar service in my opinion. If you like seafood the Acapulco burrito is really good! I personally like the fajitas....good portions.
Authentic Mexican restaurant with extremely delicious food and super friendly staff. We had the Chicken wings with Spicy SalsaYummy!, Chipotle Chicken and Shrimp Rancheros. Everything was tasty. They also serve free hot fresh tortilla chips and salsa/bean sauce. For drinks we had Horchata and Cucumber Mohito. I would love to be back at this restaurant!
Fast, prompt, friendly service, great food, and REALLY good mixed drinks!! Our first time here and we'll definitely be back!!
