We were looking for a brunch place on the way up island from Victoria and I was thrilled to stumble upon Plantitude. What a great find! The space is clean and fresh and bright and the patio looks inviting and private. The menu is very impressive and there are so many items I want to try. We ordered 2 brunch items and split them so we could try both. They were beautifully presented and delicious. The staff were friendly and helpful and the owner was lovely. I’ll be back again and again so I can try more of those wonderful sounding menu items!
Can't tell you how much I love this place. Drove 1.5 hours to get there because of recommendations. Worth. The. Drive. Will be back again and again. If you can't eat dairy or meat or really gave any allergies you need to go here. I got to eat food again! And it was all delicious. Love what they are doing. Keep it up!! Vegetarian options: 100% plant based!! Dietary restrictions: They got them covered.
We were travelling from Campbell River and were looking for a late lunch/dinner spot so we decided to try this place out and boy it did not disappoint! There were tons of options on the menu, we didn't know what to pick! The food was so delicious that we ended up talking about it for the whole day! Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for vegetarian/vegan food in the area :
BEST FOOD ON THE ISLAND. Plant based or not, this restaurant is the BEST. I live over an hour away but always head that way if I'm eating out. The menu is fantastic; varied, relatable, and has items we haven't been able to have anywhere else. I have never had anything there that I didn't like; and I'm pretty sure I have tried everything on the menu because I go there so often! Great atmosphere with indoor or outdoor seating. Staff are always lovely. Desserts are delish too! Karen has created a beautiful restaurant that has something for everyone. We have taken non-vegans here many times for both Brunch and Dinner and they rave about the Plantitude Benny, potato skins, burgers, and risotto. I cannot recommend Plantitude enough! This place is truly the best in every way.
Plantitude is my family's favorite restaurant! The food is excellent and super delicious. The grilled veggie panini on their brunch menu is always my top pick and their home made soups are fantastic! The service is wonderful and the owner is incredibly kind and thoughtful. I highly recommend you visit them anytime you are in the Ladysmith area.
Lovely resto, all vegan! We will be back : The spinach artichoke dip was great. We also ordered the butter chicken, Plantitude benny, and sassy monkey dessert! The butter chicken wasn't very buttery; more like a healthy stir fry version, with lots of tomato. Still yummy! Just not creamy or very rich. The corn chips that came with the artichoke dip were a little stale, but the bread was good. The Benny was delish! Would definitely order again. Didn't need the fruit cup though, as it didn't look super fresh. Sassy monkey dessert was delicious, but I wish they'd do a full fat vegan ice cream, not just banana ice cream. I've eaten enough banana ice cream in my raw vegan days Super friendly and helpful staff. Not very busy on a rainy Saturday afternoon. Awesome bathroom, and they also have a little "store" area on shelves where you can buy vegan marshmallows, chocolate, soy curls, hot sauce, etc. Thank you!
We read about this place online back home and wanted to check it out while we were on the island. It was so worth the drive. The appetizer flat bread was incredible. Portion sizes are very generous and my only regret is so didn’t have room for dessert.
We dine in at Plantitude several times per year and enjoy their takeout as well. For our wedding anniversary earlier this year we reserved one of the Bubbles on their patio and even though it was February we were toasty warm with their heaters. But it's the food that deserves 5 stars. We ordered the Taste Plantitude. What a feast it was! The flavours and presentation were spectacular. You must try it! We feel so blessed to have this delightful vegan restaurant in our town. Vegan or not everyone will enjoy their impressive food. Along with their highly attentive customer service, you will feel like royalty. Dietary restrictions: What is also impressive is that Plantitude makes sure that gluten-free options are available for most of their dishes. And the desserts! Did I mention their desserts?! They too are gluten-free and flavour rich.
Absolutely delicious. Had the butter chickn and "eggs" benny, as well as the mimosa mocktail, and everything was just to die for. Service was fast and friendly. Ended up buying a bunch of baked goods on my way out, and those were all delicious, too! I'm a celiac vegan and there was so much for me to eat there. I have zero complaints. Will be going back again and again!
Can't say enough good things about this wonderful restaurant. The food is incredible, the service is great and friendly. Please start a franchise and put these restaurants across Canada!!
