Syed is literally one of the most amazing leaders this gym has had. He connects constantly with the community and brings attention to any details that need to be sorted. Whenever our gym members speak no matter what the issue is he helps address it eight away and allows them a voice to be heard. Planet is a good gym to work out at. They have updated most of the mainly used equipment and provide lots of tools for learning for members with the app. The gym is clean and the staff take time to say hello and make sure floors are taken care of. As a member and staff im proud of this amazing place and the community members who make it feel like a second home. Regina needs another location. Otherwise this one is amazing.
After the recent renovations that have occurred at Planet Fitness this gym is the best that it can be for a budget gym with some exceptions.nnFirst and foremost, the staff as of November 19th 2025 is the best set of staff that has even been hired at this location. They are all friendly and willing to help with any request. Couldn’t ask for a better set of staff!nnAll the equipment has been updated as of about a year ago which was one of my pervious complaints. They have also recently repainted the entire gym which adds a more open and fresh feeling to the facility. The free weights section is still an area in which they can improve. Although they have added new equipment and replaced worn out equipment, I still believe they need more benches in the facility. Specifically folding benches as they are the most popular. As well in the future if they added more selection of weights, for example adding 47.5-pound weights instead of having traditional 5-pound increment weights that would be ideal. With that being said the improvements made over the last year have made this gym way better.nnI will add they do need to do deep cleans of the facility more often mainly areas that are hard to reach. Looking up at the roof you can still see layers of dust on the support beams, lights, etc. If they could do a yearly deep clean it could drastically improve overall air quality within the facility.nnThe gym is busy at peak hours but that’s to be expected. I will add that the free summer pass for high school students is the only reason I still consider switching gyms. I know that has nothing to do with this facility specifically and is a corporate decision but MOST of the high school students are disrespectful in the locker rooms, disrespectful to equipment, and disregard the amount of time they spend on the equipment.nnIn the past year this gym has went from a 2-star gym to a very respectful 4-star gym in my opinion. With some more minor improvements as I mentioned this gym would be absolutely perfect. If you want a great workout at a great price this gym has everything you need and exceeds at offering a great environment.
Great gym overall. Staff is amazing and friendly. My only issue is that all the TV’s for TSN have been frozen for over a month. Very annoying that I can’t watch sports while doing cardio and crazy that it’s still not fixed. Otherwise highly recommend
I did a drop in guest, 5 am. Pretty quick process, not many people at 5 am. The equipment was relatively clean, some.of the treadmills needed service, running was an issue with some that would stick. After trying a few i found some that were ok. I think it's a heavily used place so kind of expected, but maintenance is definitely required. I gave it 4 stars only because the drinks I purchased were 2x regular price in any other store. Lots of equipment, clean and staff was helpful. This is going to be my new gym when I'm in the city working for sure. Their membership prices are also good, wish we had one in our community. Try them out and feel great!
i loved sarah and the help she provided when i called the regina club, she is very friendly and her laugh was one of the reasons i decided to come sign up. you need more staff like her. i really loved the energy. five stars ill be back to workout and start my health journey
