I’ve enjoyed coming to Planet Fitness for more than five years. Genuinely the staff have always been very friendly and the equipment is clean although one thing of contention is most people don’t wipe down the dumbbells when they are finished working out—even I’m guilty of this. But for the most part of the machines and the benches and curl bars and seats, and mats are all wiped down after each use. I like that the black card pass allows me to be able to bring a guest anytime and have access to the Massage chairs and Hydro beds. Plus the people in the club are awesome and I’ve made several friends over the years.
This is the BEST location in Winnipeg. It's new, so the equipment is tops. But what makes this the best location EVER is the staff. Especially Gab and Jesse, but for real they're all 12/10. Come get a membership you will have NO REGRETS!!
Planet fitness is located on Ellice avenue in the West End area of Winnipeg. It’s a short drive to Polo Park Mall and it surrounded by numerous other retail outlets, including Qdoba, Sally beauty, Rogers/Fido, Garbonzo’s Pizza, super thrift, Walmart and canad inns. The gym is open seven days a week with limited hours on Saturday and Sunday until 7pm. The staff is friendly, checking is easy, there’s plenty of parking, the gym is very clean and well organized. There are plenty of machines for all different exercise exercises. Very affordable with memberships starting at $10 per month. Great place to work out overall.
Great gym with a positive environment and helpful staff. Shoutout to all the workers for keeping everything running smoothly. Special thanks to Gab for always listening to concerns and being supportive.nHopefully we get to see free barbells and squat racks soon.
Clean gym but not as clean as the Garden City location. I found that the low lighting in the stretch/core area made me feel like I'm working out in a dim lit back lane, maybe up the brightness a bit. The gym can be quite busy during peak times but I found that the members who go here are not as rude as the other location mentioned.
