Updating review and changing to 1 star for 2 reasons: 1 removing name of salesperson, not fair to single her out for what was a bad experience start to finish, it was a whole team effort to be this bad. 2 since the review have gotten two calls: I one from the owner to promised to come by "next week" and take a look...it's going on 2 months and nothing... And II call from salesperson about a month ago, very concerned about this review but zero concern about actual job. So all in all, in my eyes very much an outfit to avoid. Original review: Second experience with GSM, first was a few years ago for a master bathroom, which was top notch all around, service, selection, workmanship. This time around...not so much. I think COVID effect maybe because rookie saleswoman made several mistakes in order which delayed project by a few weeks, and made poor suggestion regarding grout color which in the end accentuates other defects in workmanship. What else... Had to hassle them to get the grout done as we had been forgotten about. Part of original job had to be demoed and redone because tiler did not properly set a trim didn't have to haggle too much with them for this, this is reason for 2 and not 1 star. Oh, and my transition trim just got plain forgotten about...will do that myself to not have to call them back...for about the 15th time. And after all that, the overall quality is not what we expected after first job, which was the reason we went back there to begin with. Uneven grout lines, slightly out of level trims, and tough cuts on tile around wall niche. I think they started to take on less skilled people to keep up with workload =greed, to the detriment of the paying customer. Would stay away until workload dies down or keep a very close eye on their work. Either way, trust is lost on my part, will shop somewhere else next project...
Unbelievable well organized team of professionals! They were not pushy with their sales reps like other companies and you did not feel like just another number. We found everything we were looking for with their help! Thanks again GSM we shall see you soon for our next home project.
