We just came back from a weekend stay at Whitesands. We stayed in a cabin and it was perfect. Great size and had everything we needed. Would love to see more garbage cans around the campsite so that it's easier to dispose of garbage when you're taking a walk away from your campsite. Overall great trip and friendly staff!
A super big thank you to the staff and management for helping me off the lake when my boat broke down. The fire department in lac la biche didn’t answer their phone. Downfall, the last couple times I came up here there has been a large group in A loop that would party well past the 11pm cerfew so getting sleep is hard. Overall I like this place and will continue to come but during the week only.
This is a nice place to enjoy with your family, small or with a big group of people, clean and good cabins. Cabins have air conditioner for really hot days and there is a place for boats too. There is also a place for RV but it’s small and it doesn’t have as much privacy.
Former provincial Campground turned private. No boat launch on site, closet is a few km away. This may be a deal breaker for many, and why I give less than 5 stars. Beach is good depending on water levels. Excellent for families and kids as they are on top of late night noise and traffic in the park. Sometimes can feel a bit overbearing but ultimately makes the whole camp experience better for everyone. There's a small store with ice cream, staples, candy and camping and fishing stuff. I like this place despite the few issues I have with it and would recommend it to anyone that wants to camp out in the north country.

This is our favourite campground. It has everything you need. Nice private full hook-up sites. A playground for kids. It's right on the lake. The bathrooms, showers and laundry facilities are some of the cleanest and well kept I've seen in a campground. The little store has a great selection and they sell firewood too.
A fantastic family campground. The sites are well maintained and the staff is very friendly. Some of the sites do hold a bit of water after a rainfall and can be a bit muddy but all in all a great campground. The on site store has some of the best variety of goods I have ever seen in a campground and they have over 20 flavours of soft serve ice cream.
Loved it all. Cabin on the beach, staff is very friendly, happy and accommodating. Clean, well kept cabin with everything you need for your stay. Fair prices at Grandma's store.
Staff was super nice and they were continually dumping garbage cans and keeping the bathrooms spotless! I felt safe letting the kids go to both parks by themselves as traffic was kept to 10km/hr. My family stayed for 9 days and 8 nights. Never had one problem with noise or other campers. We really enjoyed our stay and would go back again.
Nice sites, great price and all hookups. Friendly staff. Nice place, showers and laundry are good. Sadly the boat launch is out of order and an eye sore. The beach is alright, appears as though water level has come allot, the beach is sort of narrow. Definitely will go back.
