Visited on a hot Saturday afternoon and the beach was packed. If you are planning to swim, the water is cool and a little murky but still felt clean with lots of space to swim or float. Would recommend for the water, but due to the small beach front, it is not the most spacious to lay and enjoy the sun.
Cute mini beach neighbouring Arthur Therrien Park. Plenty of sand space for volleyball and badminton which for the most part is separated from the trail with trees. Ideal for picnics, kayak rowing and relaxing on the massive stones.
It's so beautiful especially after rain You can gi there for your peaceful evening There's residential buildings too with beach front views, looking forward to find a place near this beach
Didn't liked this beach that much, have seen some good beaches other than this. The best part is it's very near to the city which is not the case with other beaches.
A real sandy beach on the south shore of the island of Montreal. Not big but quite busy in the Summer. Swimming allowed.
Verdun Beach is great if you live in the borough, but is also easy of access if you live near a metro station on the green line. Just get off at station de l'Eglise and walk south for 5 minutes. It's not a big beach, so expect a crowd on weekends and holidays.
Weather is still a bit cold, so we just took a walk around the shoreline! First time came here, honestly, it’s much smaller than my imagination, it must be crowded at summer time! However, it’s still a nice place to come!
A good attempt to make a beach like ambience on a riverbank! Appreciable as they arranged safe zone for swimming, toilets , changing rooms, sand bank, gardens, kids slides, climbs and big rocks to diminish the strength of current near the beach!!
Honestly a beautiful place to spend the day. Good energy, not too crowded; nature walks, clean sand and the water is amazing. It's so nice to have this little piece of paradise so close by, while still giving you the little feel of stepping outside the city life.
Still under construction, open to the public but I do not see how they can isolate that portion of the water to make sure it is safe to swim, other than that, it is a good place to have a picnic, chill with friends and get a tan. It gets super crowded as it was just opened. I believe it will get better with time when they finish it totally.
