I really liked the decor, a nice combination of rustic and new, as well as being clean and nicely laid out. The floor was sticky, so that was a bit of an annoyance. It was very busy when we were there and as such, the staff were running hot, but everything worked pretty good. The younger girl seemed a bit confused at times but was helped by the older lady with the excellent hearing….she caught our question from a distance and was right on top of things. The menu choices were right in line with typical Diner fare, but everything tasked fresh and was well prepared. The value of the offerings were excellent, so we were very pleased with the entire experience. We will definitely come to PJ’s again and you should too.
Really enjoy our breakfast! Welcoming atmosphere and servers were very friendly- definitely recommended with a variety of menu items and everyday specials.
Food was amazing! Came out in a timely manner too! Owner was very nice, wait staff was attentive and friendly also! Would come back next time I'm in town.Food: 5/5
Breakfast with my grandson on Saturday.. he was so spoiled by our server! Lovely service and lots of food. He had fish and chips.. chips fine... but the fish just pooled in grease. I peeled off the batter which was a pity. I had eggs Benny... really good! Coffee is reasonable too.
I really like the fish, but the sides need some work. It would be great if you offered real french fries, not frozen, and offered a homemade coleslaw, and/or a nice salad. Maybe also some tasty homemade soup your current soup isn't great. If you offer customers a choice of sides, that taste good, you would do well. I would be willing to pay more, if you worked on your side dishes. The pie is fantastic, so don't change that
Went with the family. Was presented kids menus for the kids and normal menus for the adults. When ordering, the kids ordered from the kids menus. When the food came out it looked great and tasted delicious. Both myself and one of my kids ordered a burger. I joked at the table that I should have ordered from the kids menu as our burgers looked the same. I could have saved money if I ordered my meal off the kids menu. Turns out the joke was on me as the items the kids ordered, were not ringed up as kids meals. She rang them in as adult sizes and gave them adult sizes. And of course also charged us the adult menu prices. Why give us the kids menus to pick from? Kinda feel a bit ripped off here, but we did get the larger portions for the kids, which they both could not finish. Staff was super friendly so that’s a huge positive Kid-friendliness: Friendly and offered suckers for the kids to eat after meal
The people are the best, always friendly and on top of it, which is why I gave 4 stars. It's a bit pricey for bottom to mid tier sysco portions, so daily specials are a good go-to. Doesn't stop me from visiting whenever I'm in town, though.
Solid little stop. Had to do a big road trip for some things and stopped in for a patty melt. Great place Great food Great service Even had some pie. Quintessential diner experience.
It was quite busy when I visited PJs and that didn’t affect the quality of their food or customer service in the slightest. Despite only having two ladies serving, they both provided great service the whole visit. The food was delicious and great quality too!
Excellent local restaurant. Service was great, friendly and attentive. Fish Friday was awesome The portion size is great, fresh fish and all for $15. Highly recommend, will definitely be back.Food: 5/5
