Pizzeria Moretti

I’m glad we still came here despite the reviews. The restaurant was so ambient, everything was really lovely. Service was fantastic and our hostess Vanessa was great. She gave us great recommendations and the bartender made a killer sangria. I just wish the pizza was a little less dry 4 cheese, some olive oil or a base sauce would be nice. The mac and cheese was phenomenal but also needed a little sauciness to it. Truffle paste was incredible.

I want to give 4.5 but that's not available and going to 4 would be an injustice. The staff were all on point when I visited. I was extremely impressed at how quickly the food came to the table. The only issue I had was the glasses shoukd all be on coasters so that the condensation doesn't flow all over the table. I'll definitely be back! My daughter has already asked when we can return

Beautiful restaurant. The ambience was really nice but the food was just okay. I was very excited about the calamari but it was very bland. I don't think they seasoned it at all, definately could've used a lot of salt. The buratta was okay, also bland. Tomatoes were not great and didn't taste ripe. My pasta was delicious, I got the mac and cheese. It was super creamy loaded with flavor, it was the only thing I really enjoyed. Also, water is $9. I've been to a lot higher end restaurants and water was free.

Went there after the Jays game. Excellent location just a block away. The staff are indeed very friendly. Loved the atmosphere and the vibe. Great music later in the evening with the DJ. Prices are not for the faint of heart though ie $25.00 for a 6oz glass of wine. The food was delicious however the service/timing was off with only 3 of 4 appetizers came out together. We waited on the fourth appetizer. It was the same routine for the mains. I wouldn’t run back BUT if I was at the Jays game again, I would definitely give Moretti another go.

First time here. My friend suggested we try this place since she loved it. Ordered the pulpo and we loved it. Cooked very well with a nice touch to the outside and soft but not too chewy on the inside. Pizza was good and the gnocchi was excellent with the truffle topped on it. Highly recommend. The server also gave us two coffee shots on the house which was delicious and a kind touch by him. Please give it a try.

I love this spot. Great ambience for a fun night out. The food is amazing. Best to go with a group and try a bit of everything. There’s nothing on the menu that isn’t excellent. It feels cozy while still being a place to go for a good night out. The music is loud, lights are low and it’s busy. Don’t come here for a quiet understated dinner. Come for a celebration or with a group that likes to have wine, cocktails and delicious food. I recommend this place to people all the time.

We celebrated my brothers birthday at this restaurant and it was an ok experience. At the beginning the hostess was a little rude and wasn’t welcoming, however the rest of the staff were kind and nice. The food tasted absolutely amazing, the portion was great and enough and it was really nice. The deserts were very delicious specially the nutella pizza and the tiramisu. Overall i think they should work a little bit more on their costumer service, other than that everything was amazing.

Great atmosphere, great staff, food was 7/10 overall. Ceaser Salad, and the lamb chops were amazing. My pasta was decent but their famous "cheese pasta" was disappointing. The pizza did look and smell very good despite not trying it myself.

This meal, oh this meal. We are blessed to have so many great restaurants here in Toronto. So many of the Italian restaurants. Moretti is at the top of that list. Everything was exquisite. But that your Gnocchi Cacio Pepe was the BEST I’ve ever had. And that includes my dining experiences in Italia. Gorgeous restaurant too! **I am not going to make it affect my review but the staff seemed a little young and green. Everyone seemed to disorganize.

Had dinner with clients at Moretti. We just walked in and they moved around a couple of tables to accommodate us and the manager came over to ask if we were comfortable. Had the salmon, sea bass, chicken parmiagana. When we were having coffee the server could tell that we were undecided about dessert and they brought out this platter for us. What an incredible experience. Looking forward to going back!
