ROBOT PIZZA!!nnNow that I got your attention fellow Foodies I happened to meet Alex and Andrew from @thepizzaforno who were checking up on their latest Automated Pizza Making Box in East Markham !! Located at the Petro Canada at 16th Ave and 9th Line. They were kind enough to walk me through how it worked and offered me a complimentary pizza !! I chose the Meat Lovers pizza and got it cold so I could enjoy it later with the kids !! You can order pizza through the @thepizzaforno app or right at the Pizza Box !! It takes most types of standard payments and only takes 3-4 minutes to make and you can order ahead of time or make it at home - My pizza took only 4 minutes to cook.nnPros - Open 24 hours, and many selections, ready in a few minutes and fresh ingredients!! If you download the app, sign up for emails or follow them on Instagram, they offer discounts, promotions and sometimes even free pizza's.nnCons - I only got to try one lol !! Give Pizza Forno a try and in this day and age of Covid-19 it's a great alternative!! The pizza itself was amazing and the Kids loved it too.
expensive and dry - the BBQ chicken had no BBQ sauce! avoid this!nnHawaiian was decent , but not worth $15. I guess what do you expect from frozen pizza.nnIf you're desperate for pizza and everything else is closed, I suppose this would semi satisfy your craving.
I've been here twice already because I absolutely loved the idea of hot pizza dispensed out of a vending machine. I've noticed that each vending machine has slightly different options and I've managed to try 5 different kinds already. Out of 5 I would recommend goat cheese and honey, BBQ chicken and meatlovers. This was the only one closest to Durham and Scarbrough that was accessible outside when I had checked. It was easy to find next to a gas station and had no line. Just keep in mind it does take 3 minutes for a pizza to bake and they're not cut. But they do offer compostable knives and they cut pretty easily since the pizzas are thin crust.
Ok 5 minute pizza. Smells are really good, as soon as you approach the machine you are greeted with a warm welcome of herbs and spices. The pizza it’s self is ok for a gas station quick pizza.nThe only thing is I wish they could’ve just sliced the pizza for you. Instead they have plastic knifes covered in plastic wrap.
Great pizza! Fast and tasty! Goes really well after pumping gas : keep up the great work guys!
