Had a really good experience. There was a line at the door, but it did not take too long to go through, get checked in. The place was full but we did find a seat after getting our drinks. Then we just went to the buffet and dished up our food. Busy time so they were always bringing out fresh items of pizza, dessert, and salad bar refills. Was really quick. Everyone was satisfied in our group. Will definitely go to a pizza ranch again as I have children and it is very kid firendly in both food options and atmosphere.
The personnel were very attentive. The buffet area was kept well stocked. Our empty plates were removed in a polite and efficient manner regularly. The food quality was good and the whole family enjoyed the restaurant. Definitely recommend this Pizza Ranch location. Thanks to all the personnel for the wonderful dinning experience.
Facts- Costs about the same as other established buffets. They have 3 islands including pizza, non-pizza food, and a salad/cold bar. Pros- You get full. If you don't like the options, you probably won't be going here anyway Cons- You get full but, it's a buffet and food gets wasted a lot. I don't like that. Yes I eat here somewhat frequent. And Yes I eat what I take. 90% at least
Keep in mind it is a pizza ranch. This isn't going to be where you take your significant other on your anniversary. We went with a hockey team and they were able to put us together in a room and keep the buffer stocked without missing a beat. The pizza was better than expected and it beat any other team dining experience I have ever had. Well done to the PR team in Monticello. We really appreciate you! Kid-friendliness: About as good as it gets.
Don’t plan on there always being enough staff to run the restaurant. 12:45 PM lunch with 1/2 the tables open, no one in line, and they said they are “not taking any more customers”. We asked how long do we have to wait and the hostess said she didn’t know. Don’t waste your time with this Monticello MN franchise. We need better.
This was our first time eating at Pizza Ranch. It has an inviting wild west atmosphere. The staff was very friendly. The restaurant was pretty busy yet clean. The buffet features American cuisine. There was a salad bar, pizza, fried chicken, sides and dessert. The pizza and fried chicken were good. I was impressed by the salad bar. The sides are average. The variety was great for my family. We will be coming again.
We got here right at 4:30 dinner buffet and everything was fresh and hot! Manda greeted us and she was SUPER sweet! My boys got to play in their "play area" after we were done. Such a nice and clean facility. Ill be bringing my kids back.
Was okay. Pretty decent for the price. A lot cheaper than ordering from a family owned pizzeria. Came in with a family of 4 for $44. Was very surprised on how much I liked the stuffed crust pizza and their fried chicken. Pretty cramped space. They do have a salad bar and dessert options too.
The food was good, probably waited at the counter when arriving for close to 10 minutes before being acknowledged though. Bus workers saw us and made eye contact but said or did nothing though as I suppose it wasn't their job to run the reception area, not sure but that could have been much better.
Seven of us for lunch celebrating a birthday chicken and Pizza was really goodFood: 5/5
