By far one of the worst pita pit visits I’ve ever had, The first lady was all right with the girl who made my food looked like someone just killed her father she did not want to be there terrible customer service awkward silence the whole time, and my pita was dry and they couldn’t toast my pita. When would think you would clean the toaster before you open or after you close not during the business day. Seems new management hasn’t changed anything it seems.. The one in Kitchener still way better in my opinion,
Trish the manager at the Elmira location should go around to each Pita Pit and teach them how to make Pita’s. The double meat was cooked perfectly with southwest sauce on it the other Pita Pit forget to add the sauce. Pita was bursting with toppings and she was generous with all the fixings-hummus, tzatziki etc..Bottom line best Pita Pit experience I’ve ever had. She was pleasant, courteous and I’ll be back. Best Pita I have ever had-thanks to Trish.
I screwed up and said "yes" to onions. The girl behind the counter re-started my order. Thank you for your understanding. Management - you have good staff. Thank you for a great experience.
Don't go. They do half bowls here. $16 bucks for half a small bowl. Not worth it at all.
Literally the worst service ever. They don't make food based on who ordered first. The way they make pita is also as if they are just throwing things together. Oh and the place never feels welcoming. They also mix meat with falafel. The only reason I come here is when I don't have time to drive to Waterloo. I thought it would get better under new ownership but it's probably gotten worse.
Ordered through Uber eats. Wonderful service! The pitas came with a hand written note stating that the pitas were prepared fresh when the Uber driver arrived at the store! They also threw in some pita chips for us to try. Very impressed with the service and will be ordering again!
We went for lunch this Sunday and had a great experience. I know they are under new ownership and it shows! Pitas we’re delicious and stuffed full. Kids really enjoyed them too. Staff were very friendly and fast. We’re we’re sitting down and eating in just a few minutes. Thanks Pita Pit team!
Honestly my go to pita pit for those days I don’t pack a lunch. I’ve been really enjoying the rice bowls, and here they pack it nice and full. Always greeted kindly and have had some good conversations with the staff. Thank you
Poor customer service and even worse when the "new" owner is there. Several times I have witnessed the owner talk down to her employees in front of customers....one girl was almost in tears due to how she was being treated and belittled by the owner....this was clearly her 1st job. Also, disappointed in the little amount of toppings and minimal care they have when making pitas. We like to stay local but repeated bad attitude from owner, poor service and poor quality makes me take a trip into the city!
Not super happy. Not one star because I thought it did taste good like, overall the Pita was okay. The one thing that drove me a little bit crazy is that they were very skimpy on the toppings. I can honestly say I probably eat 3-4 pitas every week after I hit the gym. I was in Elmira so I thought I would give this pita pit a try. It didn't really impress me. The Pita that I walked out with was like half the size of any other pita that I would get in Kitchener or Waterloo. I'm not sure if that's because this one location is told to make them that way or if it was just the worker on shift. Hesitant to try this location again, maybe I'll just make sure to ask for like three times the toppings lol
