Normally I don't post reviews unless warranted and I felt I had to let others know about our terrible experience. I took my family to this location on Sunday night before Thanksgiving. I explained to the employees that my mother has digestive issues & so can only eat chicken and rise - to which they recommended that we should get the rice bowl. The picture you see is what we got paid $12 for it - I asked the cashier why there was barely and chicken and rice - to which he replied that the cost of the salad ingredients offsets the small proportion... which makes no sense since the shawarma wraps are priced almost the same with more chicken. Noticing the long line and to avoid holding it up, I accepted it. My mother was still hungry and it ruined our thanksgiving night. I heard about places cutting down on proportions due to inflationary cost pressures but this is straight up stealing from customers and demonstrates greed at unprecedented levels. After sharing my experience with my friends and colleagues they were shocked and encouraged me to share my story...so here I am
Food was tasty, but the service was unpleasant. My daughter and I were looking forward to this for a while, we were going to get breakfast and then go shopping. I don't know when they stopped breakfast options, like eggs, but that was not the problem. The lady taking our orders was not patient, I am a bit hard of hearing and this seemed to bother her. Then when it was time to add toppings, she just called out the name of the pita. I wasn't sure what the protocol was, I hadn't been in a while. When I clued in and asked "oh you're asking what I want on it?" she rolled her eyes at me. We felt like we were bothering her by coming in and ordering food.
Ordered shawarma bowl on rice and a chicken pita. Taste of bowl was good. That’s why 3 stars. Pita was bland. Sauces were on one side only. Staff should help more in suggesting sauces and topping while wrapping a pita.
Location: Huntsville on Howland Dr. Never going back. Paid $14 for what was supposed to be a large chicken ceasar and not only did they give me a small one, the pita literally fell apart in the girls' hand as she made it. Even after I said "that pita has seen better days" about the condition of the pita, she ignored me and continued making what is now slop on my lap. She attempted to toast it for about 10 seconds and it actually stuck to the panini maker so she got a spatula and scraped it off, wrapped it up and handed it to me. $14 Garbage. Wasn't even toasted. You guys should be ashamed.
The girl taking the order was falling asleep ... they gave my salad to the customers behind me Didn't get the fried veggies... And had to go back to pay for the extra cheese bacon deal I asked for... the whole experience kinda hurt .. and I didn't even even get double... Very disappointing
Normally not one to leave a negative review, however, my experience was horrible unfortunately. Started off with a rude cashier who didn’t even make eye contact and rushed me through my order. I am a bit hard of hearing and she seemed really frustrated having to speak louder. When it came time to add toppings to my sons and my pita, we were beckoned by them yelling what pita we had where again they were rude and seemed to not take care in how they prepared the pita. My sons bacon for his pita ended up in my wrap with all of my toppings and sauce touching the bacon, and instead of getting new bacon they slapped his bacon back in to his pita…. The counters were covered in a sauce which they did not care and wrapped our pitas on a filthy counter. Even after all this I used my manners and thanked them and nothing was said back to us. I’m beyond frustrated with my experience and was not impressed with the lack of customer service, cleanliness and cross contamination! I’m shocked people have had good experiences here honestly. The woman behind us had a wrap that was swimming in sauce and they ripped her pita wrapping it. Eat at this location at your own risk.
tastes delicious is the best option in the area and the ladies who serve are very friendly
Order was ok the person behind the counter when i was there had a snarky attitude like she didnt want to be there gave me attitude as i was thanking her for the order she grab the pita bread and threw it into the heater didnt even place it properly which led to my pitas ripping and she didnt even replace the ripped pita bread very unsatisfied
I would have given a negative rating not because of the food but customer service. They seem racist, not very helpful, and have so much attitude. My suggestion to the owner is to change the whole staff. Thanks.
Usually pitapit toppings are generous, however I ordered online for the first time and the meat portion was very low and even the toppings. The majority of the wrap was lettuce. The bowl also did not include the rice that we had paid extra for, and the amount of gyro was about 3-4 bites. Possible they were low as it was later on in the night, but was definitely disappointed that we paid for a topping that was not included. Wouldn't recommend ordering online so you can verify topping portions are up to par.
