We wanted to love this cool spot, but it fell a bit short of our expectations. The service was great and the place was good. But the food felt a bit unexciting and bland. There is so much potential with what they have, but the combinations lack character. The gyro meat, in particular, tasted like it came out of a store box. The pita was the same. The air fried cauliflower was one notable exception. Unique and crunchy. Worth a try.
Driving by looking for a bite to eat and noticed that they were open. First time ever having rice with Gyros and it turned to be the best choice. Rice and gyros meat were so delicious together. There was enough meat to enjoy my Gyros the traditional way and Filipino way. It would have been 5 stars if the air conditioning was turned down a bit more. Service was great and friendly.
Had the chicken gyro,Greek fries, chicken kabob, rice. Good food with little spice. Their hot sauce is like a Sriracha. The whole wheat pita had good flavor. Would be nice to sit outside when it gets warm.Dine in: YesOutdoor seating: YesTakeout: YesDelivery: YesCurbside pickup: Yes
Delicious food with plenty of options to choose from. Many different spreads as well. I had the gyro bowl and my wife had the chicken shwarama bowl, both were fantastic. They have a kids menu as well and thr serving as more than plenty for little ones. Great seasoning on all the food. Service is fast and friendly and the prices are reasonable. Vegetarian options: They have falafel dishes Kid-friendliness: They have a kids menu
I spent $21 on a Shwarma platter. I've never had a swarma that is Shredded. The garlic dip tasted awful, the hummus didnt taste like hummus. Hard pass. I love middle eastern food, this didn't even resemble it.
I've been coming here for a while and have never had a bad meal. The food is always top-notch and they go the extra mile for presentation. Falafel plate on top; Skepasti on the bottom.
It was my first time here and I'm definitely not used to spicy food so it will definitely take a little bit of getting used to. I absolutely love the grilled vegetables and rice and I thought the Shawarma was okay but the Gyros was a bit too spicy for me. It's a super nice atmosphere and super clean and it's really nice that the staff is friendly and the food comes out hot.
I was craving a gyro and came here after a while. There was only 1 guy working at lunch time and he directed me to a kiosk to place my order. I couldn't ask him any questions cause he walked back to the kitchen. I placed my order and noticed the sauce was extra. No problem on that, but I didn't order extra sauce. When my gyro arrived, it was dry and had just a dab of sauce. No wonder they charge for 'extra' sauce. Learned my $15 lesson. Not going back.
I stopped by Pita Mediterranean Street Food in Lombard while in the area to meet with an appraiser and was blown away by the delicious food. The Greek fries were crispy and full of flavor, and the shawarma was loaded with juicy and tender meat. The atmosphere was cozy and the staff was friendly, making for a fantastic dining experience. If you're in the area, be sure to give Pita a try!
COVID Friendly. I drove by this place with the family and were intrigued. Checked the website menu looked good. Went there for lunch with the family and I can honestly say that this was one of the better experiences with Middle Eastern Food compared to others in the area. The beef shawarma and chicken shawarma was truly authentic and you can taste the blend of spices. Their sauces are good, the hot sauce green is excellent as we prefer spicy dips. My wife is very picky with Falafels and she has found her new go to place for Falafels. We ordered the Business lunch special, falafel platter, gyro sandwich special, Beef Shawarma plate and Beef Shawarma Bowl and we will certainly be going back again. The best part was honestly the staff. They were very inviting, patient and explained the menu and gave good recommendations. Service is critical, an they certainly did not disappoint!
