Best service I've received in a long time. Multiple touch points from various employees to check in on the meals/beverage situation. The servings were ample and the price was fantastic. Would recommend and would go again!Food: 5/5
I hate giving poor reviews. I rarely do it. I looked back across six years and over 100 reviews and this is my fifth. Service was painfully slow. Despite knowing what we wanted, it still took nearly three hours from seated to cheque, and about an hour for our appetizers to arrive. I ordered my steak blue. Specifically: "I want my steak blue. As in moo. As in i want to fight my steak to eat it." It came medium. I pointed it out to my server, who offered to bring me to the chef to help him beat the guy up because he understood what I wanted. My second steak also came medium, but it had been over two hours at this point so I just asked for my cheque. The cheque was for full price. I looked at the server and he said he would bring the manager before I even said anything. The manager and the server then argued semantics with me because apparently I said rare and not blue. The service was abysmal. The steak was not even worth eating. The argument that followed was not what I came for. Picture: my second "blue" steak.
Decent food and fast food service. Welcoming staff and must try their Asian Chicken rice bowl and crispy cauliflower.
My wife and I had dinner at Piper Arms last Saturday. It was our first time. Service was a tad slow but the quality of the food was great and the price point was extremely competitive. Will visit again.Food: 5/5
Amazing service & great food. We were in town for a hockey tournament and called in last minute for dinner. The staff were incredible at accommodating a large group last minute and did so with a cheerful and friendly attitude. They worked hard to make sure the food came out quickly and we were out in time to get to the Senators hockey game. I can’t say enough about how impressed we were with all the staff. Thanks so much for a great experience for our team
4.5 stars -Perfect place for a casual & efficient dining experience. -Server was quick & efficient service. Server checked on us and made sure we had everything we needed. On the day we went it was quiet. -Great food & lots of variety -Pleasant decor although a paint job here and there or some remodelling in the near future wouldn’t hurt. -Didn’t have booths for more than 4 ppl -It’s great they had a Kids menu for 10 yrs & under. Great options for young children. -Lots of gluten free & vegetarian options too I was pleasantly surprised -menu labels vegetarian and gluten free options. This made ordering very easy. Vegetarian options: Lots of vegetarian options. Menu indicates what dish is gluten free. My vegetarian family members were pleased. Kid-friendliness: Kids menu for under 10 years. Good selection, & simple Dietary restrictions: Lots of gluten free options. I was happy with the choices. Menu indicates what dish is gluten free.
This place is great! The menu is huge! Cocktails are $6 or double it for an extra $2.00!?! You really can't beat that. I had the pulled pork natchos, ma had the steak sandwich. The pulled pork was amazing although they are not tri-coloured chips like the menu states. Huge portion, perfect for two hungry people. Moms steak was juicy and topped with mushrooms, onions, steak sauce and an onion ring! The best part, was the service! Jesse was our server and has worked there since this place opened 3 years ago. They are lucky to have him as he's so professional at what he does. You could go back 100 times and not eat the same thing, their menu is that huge. Prices are great and the service is superb. Highly recommend!
3 of us came in tonight at 5pm. It was our first time, it wasn't busy. We were seated and after a good 10 minutes of no one coming to see us, we walked out. There was an Indian dude, possibly a manager, who walked by and clearly saw us a few times and didn't talk to us at all. No waiters/waitresses either. I hear the Trenton location is better, will go there instead next time. Don't waste your time here.
Atmosphere on a Saturday night is fun. They weren't playing any music which is great to hear other people but flet strange not having any. Menu is a little too big for my liking. Food was average for what you would expect at a pub. Decent selection of beers. Overall, it's a good place but not enough for it to become my 'go to' pub.Food: 3/5
We showed up with a kids hockey team with no notice for dinner on Friday. Meals came out quickly, as ordered and everything was well enjoyed. Staff worked hard to get us through in under an hour. Very impressed!
