This is my second review of Pioneer Pizza and it's just as glowing as the first one. The people that work here are amazing and friendly and the reason people come here and keep coming back is for the excellent food. I drive from downtown Toronto passing innumerable commercial and specialty pizza joints on the way to Pioneer. It's the best!

Occasionally there's a mistake or something gets undercooked, but it's understandable for a local family restaurant. When it's good, it's good, I prefer it to the big pizza chains. The customer service makes up for things, anyway. The owners are very nice and friendly, especially if you're a regular, and if you are, sometimes let you get away with a free topping or can of pop.

The food here is not bad, but if you are planning to order from here - keep in mind that part(s) of your order will be forgotten sometimes and they will call you and say "hey we forgot your thing, tell us about it next time you order and we'll give it to you free." It would probably be a smart idea to call them before it is delivered to make sure everything is there.

I've had their pizza once. Never went back when I saw the owners dog chilling with him in the kitchen. I can accept that in your home but not in a restaurant. The 3 stars if for food taste, nothing more

Definately my favorite Local Pizza. Been going here since they opened. Great place and run by good Family. Highly recommend pay them a visit and try their pizza. Open later sometimes give them call first. Update Review: Open Labour Day 2017. Pizza is delicious, Service is fast Thank you.
