Visited pioneer park. Brookings art festival was hosted there. Lots of stalls demonstrating local art and crafts, various cuisine and live music. Enough restroom were available and baby diaper changing area was also there. There were parking spaces but due to high volume of visitors it is advised to do street parking in nearest streets.
Kids always have a blast here. Plenty to do and lots of room for all sorts of activities. Easy to get to; parking can be tight with longer vehicles; and quiet, even in town. Can rent picnic table area for large gatherings or just find an open area for smaller get-togethers. Park amenities are updated and well taken care of. Learning areas for younger children, like bongo drums or xylophone keys to play music with musical notes to play along with. Great place to come if needing kids to burn some energy or even if you have only a few minutes to relax.
Its a great park. Lots of grass and trees, quiet and the playground has lots of fun things to keep kiddos entertained and active with climbing, sliding, swinging and even twirling. We enjoy time there and appreciate the on site, clean bathrooms!
Every year, for 50 years, there in an Arts Festival bsaf.com held here where over 200 artists come to show and sell their wonderful creations. The park is beautifully landscaped and is perfect for everyone to enjoy. Public restrooms are kept very clean.
Attended the Art and Craft Festival. The grass was soggy due to heavy rain. Many vendors to enjoy and lots of attendees . Will come again in a few years.
It was a great park. There used to be a super cool wooden ship style play area with ropes and slides. The pictures I had were of the swings but I think they are gone now too. I plan to go back to check out what they changed.
My kid loves this park. Always makes new friends and the playground equipment is very enjoyable for him.
Nice park to go to hang out with friends! But the bathrooms could be a whole lot cleaner than they were that would be the only down side! Other than that it was very well maintained & I would totally go there again to hang out!!
