Me and my wife had the red snapper it was delicious! The waiter Mauricio makes the best hot sauce! But I promise you ! You won’t regret it ! It’s the best food in town !!!!
I'm a huge fan of ceviche, and looking for one that matches my Peruvian neighbor's bless her soul superior recipe is hard to come by—but Piolin did it warranting this 5-star review. I got their house ceviche—Ceviche Piolin— and despite being late-ish in the evening, the fish was incredibly fresh and the entire meal served dope flavor and I'll be back without a doubt. Highly recommend if you're looking for some authenticity.
I love this place. Their food is delicious and they give you large portions. It’s really worth the money and the time you have to wait for a table if it’s full. I took a friend with me today and he totally loved it too.
Excellent services and the food is so fresh and delicious
Food portions are large and delicious. Consider sharing the entrees. This location was busy when we visited and had a lot of to go traffic. This is in contrast to the Piolín 2 location which is as good in food quality but has a more relaxed atmosphere. Overall, excellent meal and good service.
I ordered through the phone the server didn’t take my name that’s their first mistake. Second mistake I walk in and ask for what I ordered given the fact I waited the 20 minutes they asked me and they say I can’t find my order. The server keeps saying that it’s in another store but they didn’t even take my name to even know. I keep trying to talk to the manager but the server keeps jumping over what the manager is saying interrupting and being very rudely disrespectful. I’m trying to be calm and try to even come to an understanding with them and they are not trying to come to any agreement or to satisfy the customer. I am disgusted by their behavior and the improper treatment and training from this manager and EMPLOYEE. The managers are a manger for a reason but I’ve never seen such disrespect at a restaurant by an employee which not only disrespect me but their own manager. Not only did I not leave with my food. They didn’t even let me place another order. I even asked the manager if I were a customer came in to place an order they would take it he said yes but DIDNT LET ME PLACE ONE WHEN I WAS WILLING TO WAIT EVEN AFTER THE INCONVENIENCE. Beyond disappointed.
The food has gone downhill. Ordered a whole chicken dinner, it was refrigerater cold. The salad was terrible tasting. Taste like it was in plastic. I don’t think I will be back again. One thing, good service.

I’d always come here with my family every time we go to Hartford! Over a decade and I never get tired of this place; always impressive! This time, we got lucky that we were the first waiting in line, before the line got longer! And the Chicha Morada is one of the best I’ve tried in CT!
