Really beautiful location with historical buildings. It is right on the river, and has gorgeous views. In the winter, great location to go tobboganing down the large hill, or snowshoeing on the river's edge.
Stunning stunning stunning place winter or summer probably one of the best site to build a house one best view in ottawa. Their is no charge to vist the 200 year property. In side and out.
One of the most stunning view of Ottawa River! We were pretty much blown away by the unexpected beauty of this hidden gem location! So close to downtown Ottawa, yet far away!
Very well kept grounds, beautiful scenery with places to have a picnic and just take in the surroundings. The staff are very friendly and knowledgeable. Love going there for a walk around and enjoy the company of family and friends.
Nice place to spend a whole afternoon. Not a big fan of historic places but this one got me thinking how hard life was back then that got me to appreciate everything I have today . Try it out, it is free and has a dazzling view into the lack. Enjoy !
Quiet and comfortable is synonymous with this place. This is a gorgeous tourist attraction. It is suitable for sitting a bench to have a little bit rest or daze here. At the same time, the shallows here are also convenient for children to play in the water. The most important thing is that you can learn a lot of historical knowledge.
Beautiful site. Unfortunately due to Covid restrictions we couldn’t go inside
Snowshoeing is excellent here after a fresh snowfall.
