Story

Pineacre on the Lake, as a 3 acre property, has been in our family for over 50 years. Until recently there has only been a summer cottage and lakeside cabin. These have provided many idyllic times.

We are travellers ourselves. Between us, we have visited over 80 countries. We often chose to stay at B&Bs because we felt it enhanced and personalized our travels. It has also helped us create the vision we want to provide for our guests at Pineacre.

In 2012 we moved here permanently and built a new house featuring three especially designed B&B suites – one with King Bed, one with Queen Bed and one with two Twins, something we have always wanted to do. Our vision is that those who come to visit Pineacre will experience the magic… the ever-changing lake, skies and pines providing a sense of place where you can relax, unwind and re-energize. Each self-contained suite is built to be a haven; a ‘home away from home’ complete with all the amenities we could think of, along with a private patio to enjoy the breathtaking 180 degree views of Lake Okanagan.
