Been going for years and will go till I cannot anymore. The pools are great and if you hunt arround, the pools get better. 7 pools roughly, multi temps too. Little of a long hike ahead of you though, and the best pools require some commitment.

Such an awesome, unique place. The hike is easy, and it's right off the main highway. Super, super cool place too. You gotta love hanging out under a hot waterfall. I got too see some nice boobies too, so that's always a plus, too. haha

It was a decent campground. The Pioneer fire did a number on the area, but living near the area I understand. Loved that there was a trail to do some hiking.

I debated a lot in my head about giving it 3 stars vs 4 stars but because I'm feeling permitting I left 4 stars but it really only deserves 3 stars compared with other Campgrounds, and here are the reasons. First the Pros: - the camp host, Laroue (spelling?) was a darling and very flexible and easy to talk to - there are hot springs half a mile away down the river, so worth taking the trek (not difficult for an adult, but difficult for small children) - there's 2 water pumps at each end of the campground and 2 toilets pretty well stocked with toilet paper (minus the hand sanitizer) Now the Cons: - the campsites, most of them are either really small, RV only and/or not family friendly by being dangerously close to cliffs - the entire campground is slanted at an angle which makes sleeping in a tent difficult - besides the site #19 which is a group site, all the other sites are very small, non-shaded (although on the website they're described differently) - visiting this campground August/September means you'll pretty much be camping in a dangerously unhealthy air quality zone due to the wildfire season, especially somehow so prominent close to Lowman
