Amazing experience! The staff were all super friendly and the whole process was very organized. Lots of picture perfect areas and the apples were great even though we went towards the end of the season. Line for the food was a little bit long but not a problem, you can just munch on some fresh apples for a snack!
We came on a Saturday in October, and boy was it busy. Getting in wasn't a problem, but there was a line up. Thank goodness they had police helping with line management! They had a lot types of apples to choose from which I wasn't expecting! You don't have to worry about not getting one you want. As for the price, it was very reasonable. My niece and nephew love picking the apples and checking out the souvenir shop. We all love it. The only downside is they had yet to scale up. Getting food was a very long wait. They are quite popular so be prepare to wait. Overall, would recommend for a leisurely time with your family or loved ones!
Very cute little farm! Friendly staff and there’s only an entrance fee for the apple picking, you can go to the store without paying a fee. I thought there may be some more areas to walk around but the main focus is the fruit picking which makes sense or you can go to the local trail. They have good parking which makes it easy for visitors and I’d love to visit again!
Pine Farms Orchard It's apple picking season. It's a good thing we hiked the Oak Ridges Trail coming out to the Orchard. It's busy season for them, lots of families out for apple picking this late September. Parking lot was full and there was a line-up to buy refreshments. Apple picking was okay at $2 per pound and you could go bananas over the apples .
Nice place to be for a thanksgiving’s weekend no entrance fee for farm market and $5 entrance fee for apple picking. Very cute pumpkins. I have also got apple pie it was fresh and warm.
Great experience, very knowledgeable about service dogs = 0 access issues. Sadly it isn't wheelchair/mobility aid friendly but I wasn't expecting it to be. I brought my walker with me, knowing it might not be an ideal item, but knowing 100% that my chair would be useless. If you are not overly unstable on your feet the walking conditions are not for you and the business does post this all over the place that you are picking at your own risk of injury. We made our way slowly around, finding some of what we wanted and sadly others where not ready, but over all we got a lovely selection that was priced well for our wallet and will make for some yummy desserts to come. Their market selection of pre picked apples is good as is their selection of other fresh produce carrots, squash/pumpkins, leeks n the like they even had fresh cider in two sizes to boot. Their on site restaurant has some decent offerings, sadly its a bit pricey but worth the indulgence to degrees for what is on offer. N loved their Apple Mac & Cheese and their Squash and Maple Soup was sooooo delish if we had the extra fund I'd have totally put in a order for a larger amount!.
Nothing says fall in Ontario quite like apple picking - bring your kids, family and dogs! Expect weekends to be extremely busy - the Pine Farms staff are friendly and efficient and will do their best to keep chaos to a minimum. The parking and crowd routing are excellent and the orchard is well-sized for children and elderly.
It was a great experience for us. There are many types of apple available. You can pick as much as you want, $2/lbs. Entry fee only $5/person.
Had a wonderful time apple picking at Pine Farms Orchard : Hot meals at the Cafe open at 11:00 a.m. so either come later for a nice stroll and lunch or pick apples and stay for coffee and tarts
Little gem of a farm, tucked away. So peaceful one stop shop. From fresh produce, home decor to specialty coffee and dessert. Eat indoors or outside in a comfy Muskoka chair. Will definitely go back.
