Best Indian food I've had in Canada. Nice ambiance and helpful staff. Reasonably priced and good sized portions. We've eaten here a number of times now and the quality is consistent and there are lots of great things to choose from. The appetizers are really tasty!
I love eating here. This is excellent authentic Indian good. There is a wide range of vegetarian and non items...a huge menu compared to competitors. When it comes to Indian, I have a few dishes that I really love. The food here has been so excellent that I have been exploring outside my happy food zone. I have not been disappointed. It is hard to have a bad samisa but these are the very best I have ever tried. As for the meat dishes, you get significantly more meat vs sauce than other resteraunts. The decor is super cute and relaxes me...sometimes I go just to pretend I'm somewhere else
Nice clean little restaurant located in downtown Olds. The had classic Indian classics you'd expect to see and all the favorites. Beers, wines and spirits are also available. There were six of us and we ordered a variety of different dishes. They were all good portioned and very tasty. Service was polite and friendly but there were some miscommunications. The bills were on an average 25/30% lower than what we would pay at similar restaurants in Calgary. We would definitely go back!
Ordered take out.....The service was good. The price was ok. The food itself had a lot to be desired.....the chicken meals were fatty & lacking in any flavour, the popadoms tasted like fried eggs & coconut rice had no coconut. The only thing we enjoyed was the naan!! Have experienced many Indian cuisine restaurants in many countries & I’m sorry to say we do not rate this food well at all. We will not be returning.
As I walked in I noticed the center isle prepared for a large group. As I sat on the upper section I ordered my lunch. I did not receive any silverware nor napkins. No service at all. The prawn curry was ordered with med spice but lacked flavor. As I eat East Indian frequently i would like to suggest researching The competition as flavors were lacking. Not bad, but could be improved.
Delicious and amazing quality food. Had to order rice separately but we were past the lunch rush, so I think we got the dinner options. The Byriani was so delicious. And the butter masala was incredible. Pakoras were delicious, everything spot on. Service was good! Stop by and try this amazing little jewel.
New cozy decor. Food was amazing! We tried both level 1 and 5 for spice. #1 was still flavorful and yummy just not too hot for me. Hubby loved #5 gave him hiccups. Waitress spoke English and gave excellent recommendations. I had coconut chicken, rice, and veggie dish.. You could taste the fresh Lemongrass and coconut in it! Soooo fresh..
Wow, it’s really amazing place. Everyone should try it as they have a lot of dishes in their Menu and I had lunch there and it was wonderful experience. Staff and Chefs are really professional. Keep it up Pinch Of Spice Team.
We just visited for the first time. We had chicken korma, garlic naan 2 orders & basmati rice. It was EXCELLENT! The two of us shared and it was filling and very satisfying. Total bill $24 and a GREAT value.Service was friendly, helpfull & Fast. We will return
Good food, but front of house is lacking in quality and consistency. Still a decent option for takeout, but be sure to have them read back your order to ensure correctness.
